Very beautiful hotel, quiet environment. Low key and relaxing departure from the crowds of tourists. Bed was comfortable, shower excellent, room quiet. Very nice restaurant with the most amazing windows facing the ocean. It’s a very new hotel, one wing currently under construction.
Very clean room and hotel. Staff were friendly. The bed for me tho was incredibly soft. So too were the pillows. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay but the bed for me didn’t help me have a decent nights sleep due to how soft the mattress was.
Very good restaurant that is beyond our expectations.

Overall this is a very beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms and great restaurant! Right on the beach you can enjoy beautiful sunset! All rooms are very nice including high quality toiletries, towels etc. the only downside there is a spa construction ongoing through the end of 2026 so there is no gym or spa at the hotel. Construction didn’t bother us but they could lower the price since there are no amenities. Overall great hotel.
Beautiful property in a stunning location with water and black sand dunes and beach on both sides.
Incredible included breakfast (pancakes, bacon, eggs, baked beans, potatoes, Skyr, fruit, cheeses, smoked salmon, toast, pastries, coffee and juices) in a spacious dining area with views.
Ground floor room was modern, clean, comfortable and quiet. Great location just south of Selfoss and the Golden Circle and an hour from the airport. We stayed for two nights and would definitely return and recommend.
Looks like new hotel.
Inside room was very nice restaurant view was great. I could see the waves birds.
Great breakfast .
Maybe I'll stay if I can next.
Hotel is nearly opened last month, maybe April 2026, all facilities is not available at the moment except the lobby and the restaurant.
The hotel is excellent, and the vibe are good, it’s romantic resort I ever seen jazz music play around the lobby in the hallway😍 staff is helpful and nice. Excellent breakfast with salmon.

This will be a great hotel when the finish construction and add the amenities we thought would be there. The beach and waterfront was beautiful but no sauna, etc. there was no one at the desk when we arrived and when she finally came up she stated she was in coffee break. She did not explain anything and we saw little staff there the whole time.
The hotel just opened this spring. Could not ask for a better location directly on the ocean, watching the arctic terns nesting. Hotel manager was super nice and helpful. Construction is ongoing to finish suites, etc. It was super quiet when we were there. We enjoyed sitting in the spacious lobby looking at the view. Room was nice although a little dark. Excellent breakfast buffet. They have a few quirks to work out. Will be fantastic when done. Would come back.
We were amongst the first few guests at this outstanding new hotel. The location is jaw-droppingly stunning in every direction with sea views on one side and lake/Mountain views on the other. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was immaculate with a very comfortable bed and high quality down duvet and pillows. The breakfast was excellent and the set 3 course menu was exceptional. The spa area is still in construction but we were sadly only there for a night so probably wouldn’t have had time to use it anyway. I have no doubt that it too will be superb when finished. I have no hesitation in recommending this new hotel to other travellers and will certainly return myself one day.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was delicious. The views were amazing from all directions. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. 10/10 experience.
We really liked the hotel. It seemed like a newly constructed property with fantastic views of the beach. The rooms were very clean, facilities were top notch with a well stocked bar and a nice restaurant. The buffet breakfast was top notch. It's little bit in the middle of nowhere but the hotel has everything one would need. I will highly recommend this hotel.
Brand new hotel as of July 2026. It was placed in a neat area, 15 minutes away from the nearist town. They are still building onto it, i will be back if we visit iceland agian.
Still very much under construction so there were no real amenities, but the rooms are clearly brand new and there was no construction noise (not sure when they’re finishing the place but we didn’t hear any construction).
The staff were very nice and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was great with an incredible view. I recommend not booking Oceanside as the view from the other side (which looks over a lake with mountains in the distance) is even more beautiful.
Understandably, this is a new hotel however, this was very impeccably run by some terrific people. The view was outstanding. The people made us feel very welcome and it was extremely clean and the food was delicious.
