The property is awesome! Love the location near adventure and great experiences right on site. Had lots of campfires, boated and fished a lot. It was excellent!

Great experience
The cabin was in a great location. The boats for use were so much fun. The cleaning service does a great job.
We had a wonderful stay for three nights. House was very clean and had many amenities. Property was beautiful! We were able to use the kayaks and rowboat on the lake bybthe house. It was very easy to stay in touch with the owners. They answered all of our questions promptly. We hated to leave!
As a family of 5 (with teens) we had an amazing time, we relaxed, cooked together, played games and had the opportunity to spend quality time as a family. We made memories in this lovely property. This house hands down is the best ever! We’ve traveled to different states but this one takes the 1st place. It’s fully equipped from the kitchen, laundry room to every room! Loved our game nights, relaxed by the fire place and took walks on the property. We highly recommend this property. Oh plus there’s the glacier view a couple of miles away. Don’t think twice book this place there’s plenty of activities you can do with your family. The Mendez Family
We had a great time at the cabin and enjoyed the outdoor beauty of it's surrounding area. Our time there was ideal--from kayaking on the lake, hiking, a day trip to Valdez, fishing, relaxing in the hammock, to our fish fry and smores on the open fire. The cabin had everything we needed a wonderful stay.

Fantastic getaway
This place was the best! Classic lodge by the lake. Everything you need is there! The whole family enjoyed our little stay of 2 nights but we would have loved to have spent longer there. Definatly recommend. Easy communication and instructions about your stay.
This Place was amazing and everything we thought Alaska would be. Our cozy cabin made it Extra speci
It was a very easy process to rent the cabin for the week. The owner stayed in touch with us and always got back to us quickly when we had questions. I would recommend this cabin!
What a fabulous place! This out of the way house on wonderful little lake was perfect!
We couldn’t have asked for a better place, the lake with boats and kayaks, fishing gear and a beautiful house stocked with almost anything you could need for a great week. Would absolutely stay again it’s a little far from stores but close to a glacier and incredible scenery.
This house is a little farther from town than we would have liked but it was absolutely beautiful. We had everything we needed for our stay and truly enjoyed the house and the lake. The kayaks were very enjoyable. We watched a Moose and her calf graze outside the window… wow! The fish were jumping constantly but we were unable to catch any. Already dreaming of coming back!!!
We absolutely loved Lodge 88. There was so much to do with the row boat, kayaks and well stocked fishing equipment. The mornings were so peaceful watching the animals in the lake. The house was very clean and kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The location for the glacier trek and white water rafting couldn’t have been better! This lodge is at the top of our list for favorite places we have stayed. Thank you Marlin for always answering my questions quickly. You have a great place!

Family reunion
Our two sons and their families joined us for three nights. The cabin was perfect. The fishing was fun for everyone and close to trails for day excursions. We may make this an annual event.
Home is very well-equipped with appliances, entertainment and even condiments. I would recommend buying bottled water because it has well water with iron which made drinks and pasta taste bad. Home is as described, however I wish it wasn't so close to the main road, noise was an issue at night. Excellent lakefront fishing and wildlife sightings.
Great place to relax. We went at the end of October for a birthday weekend even though it was chilly we have a wonderful time. We are thinking of coming back in the summer to be able to use the lake.
Great place to go relax with the family. Kid loved the kayaks, paddle boat and fishing. Bonfires with hot chocolate are a must. We could not have been happier with the place!
Beautiful relaxing stay at Lodge 88, farther out from town than I realized and only texting capabilities of you’re in the house but not a big deal when you have swans to admire and moose right in your front yard wading in the lake that you caught dinner in! We loved staying here, perfect place to stay in Alaska for the first time!
Quite possibly the best VRBO I've ever rented. The lake location, mountain views and privacy is unbeatable. Any anglers dream come true with an entire room of fishing rods, bait, tackle, life jackets of all sizes. The layout of the house was so spacious and nicely spread out. Great places to gather, but also easy to get away and go take a nap. We loved the porch and hammocks. As soon as I finish this review, I'm taking a look at calendar to book again! This place is so unforgettable. I'll be daydreaming of it until I'm back again.
This was by far the best place I have ever gone to for a vacation. We loved every second of it. The house is a paradise. We will be back as son as we can. The owner, Marlin was excellent to communicate with. He made our stay even more perfect. Thanks for everything Marlin. We had a blast!

Beautiful location
Beautiful location and the cabin is awesome. Enjoyed kayaking, fishing for grayling/rainbow trout in the lake, and nightly camp fires. Will definitely be back.
