4,100 square feet lovely private brick 4 bedroom waterfront home directly on the James River with water access and spectacular water views. Beautiful sunrises and wildlife to view daily. Great quiet location near many tourist destinations including Busch Gardens, Water Country, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, and Chippokes State Park. Lovely Historic Smithfield is 25 min away. Our property is waterfront just steps away from the water. Our property is large -your fellow travel partners will have plenty of privacy. There are two kitchens one kitchen on the main floor and one on the garden level. Children are welcome. High Chair and Pack and Play available on request.

Holiday on the James River

Beautiful immaculate home with stunning views of the James River. We visited Williamsburg each day via the ferry. Great communication with the owner. This was our second time staying here. Highly recommend!

Family Vaca

Great place to stay with family while enjoying all the area has to offer. The ferry is close by so makes that an easy commute. Enjoyed the home and the beautiful view of the river! Kids had a great time exploring the water’s edge.

A Place That Restores The Soul

Lovely home right on the James River. Our family saw bald eagles, herons, osprey and even a dolphin in the water. Binoculars provided were great to have to see all the surrounding wildlife. Conveniently located close to the ferry to go to Jamestown and Williamsburg.

We didn't want to leave!

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. The view out over the river was spectacular and we could even see the fireworks from Busch Gardens on Saturday nights. The ferry is very easy to access and we found plenty to do on both sides of the river. The house is well stocked and cooking was easy in this kitchen. Lots of room for our family of 6. Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely place

We had a fun and relaxing time here. It was clean, spacious and in a great location. We had 6 people and there was enough room for everyone. The home was stocked with basics in case you forgot something and was only a half mile from the ferry. Go to the cupcake place that is nearby if you can, you won't regret it!

Quick Getaway

The property was just as pictured. It was four of us and so spacious that we did not use an entire floor. The surrounding was pretty and peaceful. There was not any close shopping including grocery stores so stop before you arrive. However, we enjoyed the ferry ride across the river! We will definitely like to return when it gets warmer.

Perfect Place!

We stayed here for spring break with our extended family. Everyone loved it! The views of the James River are wonderful. We saw a bald eagle fly over with a fish in its talons while we were sitting on the couch in the living room! Everyone had their own space but we could all hang out together in the common areas. The ferry is literally around the corner and getting over to Jamestown, Williamsburg, or Busch Gardens is easy peasy. The kitchen was well stocked and we ate most of our meals there. She also provides plenty of dish, laundry, and hand soap. This is such a gem of a place for a very reasonable price! Would stay here again in a heartbeat if I’m ever back in this area.

Fantastic experience

The house is ideally situated on the James River, with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. The layout of the house itself is perfect for gathering for meals and games, as well as for individuals to retreat for quiet time. The kitchen is well-stocked, with no gaps in supplies. And the homeowner is incredibly thoughtful and responsive, including dealing perfectly with the ups-and-downs of some weather issues. We are looking forward to many future stays at this property! Picturesque Perfection

We wanted a quiet location that was more locals than tourists, but still close to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. The location was perfect for fishing and kayaking, while only a 20 min ferry ride into Williamsburg. The house was big enough to accommodate 3 families with plenty of private and shared space. The house is quiet yet close enough to shopping, site seeing and historical attractions. Would definitely recommend.

This home is amazing! Everything was great the view, spacious, comfortable, peaceful secluded but just a short ferry ride to a beautiful town that has everything you need and want. I appreciated the nice and plentiful towel sets. The host were nice, accommodating and very responsive. Im already thinking of a reason to return to the area just stay here again. THE VIEW is breathtaking

Perfect place on the James river.

Very spacey 3 level house with an awesome view and a private beach. Loved the big bay window in the kitchen. 4 large TVs with premium channel packages. Rode the ferry, did the kayak and Chippokes park. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Enjoyed the little town of Surry, monster sub at the Ham shop and treats at the cupcake shop. Had a wonderful time at this property!!

Amazing!

The location was wonderful. Close to plantations, parks and Historic Smithfield on the Surry side of the James River, and 5 minute ride to catch the ferry to cross the James over to Jamestown and Williamsburg. The home is beautiful and exactly as seen in pictures. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Morning coffee on the deck was wonderful. We plan to return!

Sisters' Trip

This beautiful house was not only in a great location but was so well appointed and stocked for our group of six sisters. The site on the James River was endlessly fascinating and convenient to everything we wanted to do in the area. There was so much room to spread out and great common areas and spots to be together as well. The home was clean & communication with Rene was easy. We wished we'd been able to stay another week & would not hesitate to recommend the property to anyone.

Beautiful views

Excellent property, clean with beautiful views. We sat outside every morning and saw beautiful sunrises and the moon rising over the James River in the evening when we got home from sight-seeing. It is close to Williamsburg by ferry which is right up the road. Rene made sure we arrived and got into the house and answered our questions quickly. There was so much to see we didn't get to everything, We are already talking about the next time we will visit..
