Great hotel spolied by some rubnish guests
Great location and lots of parking. Very friendly staff and really nice modern decor. Large rooms and nice hot showers. Only issue and technically not the hotels fault was there were the guests from hell in the next room. They had clearly got very drunk and couldnt remember how to get back in. They then procceeded to bang loudly at the door shouting for some time which was quite scary given it wasn't clear who they were and there wasnt staff on hand to sort the issue. They were then up most of the night so I left early forgoing my breakfast to go home and go to bed.

Wonderful B&B
Beautiful room, the soaker tub in the room was amazing! Down side to room 5 was there was quite a loud drowning noise coming from the kitchen extration that was on all night. Hosts were wonderful,upon depature not breakfast was taken, take a away coffee and a bacon bap was offer as an altertive - wonderful.

As usual a wonderful stay.
Only one small complaint, and that is that the folks turn the heating up to full, which needs turning down. The room was really hot... Maybe one for the cold blooded!..

Excellent service and facilities. The room was very spacious, the bed comfortable and the shower hot. We didn't have chance to use the in-room bath but it was very tempting! Breakfast was good and the food nenu in the pub was extensive and unusual. Overall: a superb stay!

Staff were very friendly and the room was clean, well furnished and comfortable. We were at the front, near the road, but the double glazing was effective and we hardly noticed any traffic noise. If we need to stay in the area in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Fab little find
I travel a lot for work and this is genuinely one of the loveliest places. The owner and staff are south African and super friendly and nice. I travel alone and they have made me really welcome. The food is outstanding. Restaurant and the hotel and clean and of good standard. Wouldnt hesitate to come back here

Relaxing stay with good food
Lovely room and hotel. Decor was lovely. Huge shower and big roll top bath... It is situated on a busy road very close to a train line and you could hear trains and traffic but this didn't detract from our stay but others may find it off putting. Breakfast was delicious. I would return!

Bedroom finished to an extremely high spotless standard with every necessary item included. Some issue with the proximity to the kitchen extraction system but this resolves at 10pm so ultimately not too great a problem. The Sth African theme is well done and the stand out was the quality of the food - one of the best steaks ive had.

Room was clean and nicely decorated. Parking was easy. However staff were not very friendly, quite abrupt and unwelcoming. One thing I found quite unwelcoming and which I've never come across is they made me sign a form on arrival saying strictly no food or alcohol in the bedrooms unless purchased on their premises or they give you a hefty fine! So I had no choice but to eat in the restaurant which was not only very pricey and over my budget but the burger was extremely greasy. I stay in hotels weekly with my work and I haven't come across this before . Nowhere on expedia it states this in the rules or restrictions. Not a very welcoming experience.
