"Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft sehr genossen. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir vom freundlichen und engagierten Gastgeber begrüßt. Die Unterkunft war gut organisiert: ordentlich, sauber, mit Grundausstattung, und es gab keine Unannehmlichkeiten während unseres Aufenthalts (ich habe Google Translate für diese Bewertung verwendet, ich hoffe, sie ist verständlich)."

"Only negative comment would be the small space available for where bed has to be located with low ceiling on the inside half. We didn’t feel like sleeping in the double bed during our stay because of this especially in the hot weather. It felt too stuffy and the person who ends up on the inside May feel slightly trapped. Pleasant stay in heart of simple village

"Lovely room in converted buildings. Danielle is a helpful host. When we arrived, our two dogs were not allowed to stay with us in the room or allowed into property. We had communicated they were travelling too but received no message back to say dogs were not permitted. The owner found them a stable to sleep in. Simple breakfast available, overpriced for what it was, but tasty enough. Room was very comfortable with plenty of space. "

A Lovely place to stay

"We chose this hotel as an overnight stop on the way from Dunkirk to the Black Forest in Germany, purely because of its position along our route. We knew nothing about Dinant until much later. A fascinating place, lovely architecture, a small museum at the birthplace of Adolphe Saxe, inventor of the saxophone, and Maison Leffe, the home of my favourite Belgian beer! The hotel is clean and modern, beautifully situated on the river bank - a river view room is worth the extra charge if offered. They have a bar serving some foods, with a lounge overlooking the river, and a riverside patio to relax. Staff were very friendly and attentive, and seemed very proud of the place. Bedroom was very comfortable and of adequate size, and the location is within easy walking distance of a variety of cafes and restaurants. Parking, on the street or in any of the car parks, is charged hourly - 75 cents per hour when we visited - but only from 9am to 5pm, so overnight is free. There is a lovely atmosphere around town, and it warrants further exploration. Lots of guests of many nationalities, and the fact that many of them were returning guests speaks for itself. We only had an overnight stop, so sadly couldn't experience much of this lovely town, but we will be back for a longer visit, and will definitely stay at the Ibis Dinant Centre again! Highly recommended."

Uitstap met kinderen en kleinkindjes

"Wij verbleven er met de kinderen, kleinkindjes en 3 honden. We waren met 12. Alles was meer dan voldoende aanwezig. Zalig toekomen, opgemaakte bedden en handdoeken genoeg voorradig, onze vakantie kon direct beginnen, er stond zelfs een wijntje koud in de frigo. Bij mooi weer is het heerlijk buiten zitten voor een BBQ met excellent vlees van 'boucherie Bertrand' uit Mettet en bij minder weer een prachtige, ruime plaats om binnen te eten. Mooie wandelingen, railbikes vanuit Falaen naar de abdij van Maredsous, de ruïnes van het kasteel van Montaigle. Wij hadden een leuk weekend en zouden zeker nog eens terugkomen. Super vriendelijke hosts. Vele groeten. Jürgen en Daisy"
