"Stayed in the deluxe room in front if the swimming pool. Couldn't open the door with the lock on arrival but was quickly rectified by the staff. The Wi-Fi was quite reliable inside the room, the TV setup was nice. Some lights didn't function although there was enough that lit up the room. The double bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space inside the room. The safe's digital keys weren't working but was quickly provided a set of keys by the staff. The included breakfast was delicious...

"Almost deafening noise, shaking the walls, in the very early morning (6 am) from a very noisy event the hotel actually allowed to happen it its own parking lot, plus an all night noisy dance party in the neighboring room. It seems impossible that a 3 start hotel would prioritize making noise on megaphones at 6 in the morning, and allowing all night dance parties in guest rooms, to be more important than letting normal guests of the hotel sleep. "I will never book this hotel again. The restaurant is poorly managed. Arrived at breakfast . Every item I was interested in was cold. They had a western selection that looked disgusting. No water in the room. They had a container that you could fill in the hallway. Warm water., They had beer on the menu...they had only 1 brand available . The dinner was so small I could have eaten 3. "

"We have stayed at the Novotel in Solo several times and have always been happy with their service. There is a great little restaurant across the street—Alamama. It has western and Indonesian options. The restaurant at the hotel is always very good too. "
