Mermaid Lagoon! Beautiful waterway views, private pool, great family getaway!

Dog friendly with the convenience of a fenced yard, this newly renovated 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is on a quiet street and only a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and steps to the intracoastal waterway. The inverted floor plan makes the most of the spectacular waterway views AND has a master bedroom with attached bathroom on each floor! We also offer a beautiful in-ground pool (14'x30'). Mermaid Lagoon sleeps 10, including a bunk bed and trundle bed, so you can comfortably accommodate the whole family. A Pack and Play in the downstairs closet. Amenities include: 2 children's scooters a few beach chairs, sand toys, and a beach cart to carry them. Enclosed outdoor shower and propane grill are ready for your use. Have lunch by the pool or relax in the many wonderful spaces on this property. After fishing on the pier and public dock (only steps away) , soak in the view from one of the large porches. Plenty of parking in the driveway and under the house.

Within easy walking distance is the ice cream shop, several restaurants, a fresh seafood market and fishing pier. Walk to the bandstand for weekly entertainment during the summer season.

Fantastic House

The Mermaid Lagoon had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the layout of the house, loved the pool, loved all the beach and pool toys. Had a memorable vacation for our whole family.

Family Summer Vacation

Perfect beach vacation week at Holden Beach. This house was in a great location to get to the beach and also to fish off the public doc that sits on the ICW. The pool was a great hangout area too. The house was a perfect fit for our family.

Awesome 1st trip to Holde Beqch

Holden Beach Vacation

Mermaid Lagoon was the perfect house for our vacation! We loved everything about it. The house has everything you need. The pool was amazing! Close to the beach. Loved rocking in the chairs and watching the intercoastal waterway. We loved our stay! The property manager was great as well! We had a great experience.

Great week

This was our second time staying at Mermaid Lagoon we had a group of 5-6 adults. We find the house very well set up for our activities, beach, pool and paddle boarding. It is close enough to walk to the beach and close to water access to paddle in the intercostal. Everyone had options and the house was clean and well equipped. Look forward to coming back!

Great week! Great house!

Really enjoyed our stay! Was just the right amount for the adults and kids! The pool was a hit from the get go! Only suggestion would be to add mattress toppers for cushion & swap out the metal beds in kids room. Other than that everything was perfect and would definitely rent again!

Get Holden house near the Intercoastal Water Way

We stayed at Mermaid Lagoon with our family of five and my brother-n-law in June of ‘23. This was our 3rd or 4th time at Holden Beach, but our first time staying away from the beach and having a pool. The house was exactly as described and great! We all enjoyed the pool and the walk to the beach was only a few minutes. This house is also close to restaurants/bars and the ice cream shop. Great house and Holden Beach is a great vacation spot!

Title

The only problem we had was the code never worked in the door for access. When we arrived the cleanup crew was still there so we didn’t need the code. The first time we all left and locked up the front door would not open. Thankfully we had left a back door unlocked.

We loved this house! Quiet neighborhood and beautiful pool. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the boats go by on the inter coastal. The house was very stocked! We will be back!

Great Family Vacation Location

This was a wonderful home for our family to gather in. We enjoyed the open floor plan upstairs and the large front porch where we could all gather. The pool was large enough for 10 of us. The boys enjoyed the fishing dock across the street, and was a great place for us to meet before the house was ready for us on arrival day. We enjoyed the quiet/safe neighborhood.

Family Beach trip

This was my husband’s and my first time to Holden but our son and his family had been there several times. The correspondence with the owner and property manager of the Mermaid Lagoon were superior!! The house was very well supplied and we loved the pool. We wish it had been closer to the beach but it was doable as one person dropped us off with all our “beach stuff” and then walked back. That being said we loved the front porch where we enjoy watching the boats sail by on the Intercoastal and the magnificent sunsets! Everything was perfect but other than the king bed the other beds were a bit uncomfortable and the living room sofas are bit dated. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend Mermaid Lagoon!

We all enjoyed the Mermaid Lagoon. It was very clean and had everything you needed in the kitchen and for the pool and ocean. The view of the intercoastal was nice to see the boats coming and going. The beach was an easy walk and the ocean was fabulous! So nice to take a break and swim in the pool as well. Linda was very responsive and great to work with. We hope to return!

Fabulous Family Vacation

Perfect in every way!! Communication was great! Exactly as advertised the pool was amazing. It was the best house for all ages. From the ripe old age if 78 all the down way to 1 1/2. The walk to the beach wasn’t a complaint, even for a 3 yr old. It was FABULOUS, can’t wait to go back!! Highly Recommended!!
