Cozy Cottage 1 mile from Holden Beach and Boat Launch. Dog Friendly!!

This 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage tucked away under the shade of the Live Oak trees is just 1 mile from Holden Beach and the Intracoastal Waterway. Large well stocked kitchen with new stainless appliances includes a dishwasher. Lots of counter space for folks that like to cook. Our living room has plenty seating for all your guest plus a new queen size sofa bed that sleeps two. New 50" smart HDTV in Living room/Dining room area. Dining table that has seating for six. A laundry room with washer, dryer, ironing board and space for all your coolers and beach needs. Fenced in yard with a small deck outback includes gas bbq grill, table with umbrella and chairs for outdoor dining or just relaxing after a day at the beach. Corn Hole Boards for back yard fun!
Master bedroom has a Queen size bed, large closet and a full bath with a walk in shower. Second bedroom has a Queen size bed with an Ardmore. A new queen size sofa bed in the living room. We provide the sheets, blankets, and towels for your convenience. Extra full bathroom in the hall has a tub and shower. A small sitting area has a high table and 4 chairs, a great place to play cards, board games or just have your morning coffee.

We are smoke free and dog friendly with a fenced in yard!
(Pet fees apply) for up to 2 dogs

For boaters and fisherman the free public boat launch is just down the road on the ICW. Lots of shaded parking is available on our property with plenty of room for your boat trailer. The mile between the house and the island is the "Causeway" full of Beach Stores, Ice Cream Parlors, Gift Shops, Mini Golf and Water Slides. Rental companies have Kayaks, Bicycles, Jet Skis, Fishing Boats, Fishing Equipment, Beach Chairs, Golf Carts available to rent. The ICW is a wonderful place to Fish Water Ski and Kayak. The Shopping Center has a Food Lion Supermarket, Subway, Dominos Pizza, China Moon, Surfers Cafe, Bait Shop and Anaya Hair Salon. Just 2 minutes from the house.

Several seafood restaurants are available locally on and off the Island, with or without water views. You will find a selection of Menus in the Kitchen drawer. Both Seafood and Produce markets for fresh food are just down the road. For a quick sub or sandwich or breakfast, two Deli's are within walking distance of the house.

In the summer months Holden Beach offers free concerts at the Gazebo every Sunday night. Tuesdays are for Tie Dye. Bring the family and make yourself a souvenir Tshirt. Wednesday night is Turtle Talk at the Town Hall building featuring films and a lecture, educating children and adults about Sea Turtles. You might get lucky enough to witness a turtle hatching on the beach! Our new playground offers Tennis, Basketball and amusement for the kids. A Dog Park can be found at the end of Scotch Bonnet Street on the Island. Parking at Beach Access signs. Some provide shower and
porta-pottys. Leashed Dogs are allowed on the beach year round. Check times for different seasons

Home was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Fenced backyard was a big plus for our pup. Good location for easy access to the beach and eateries. Excellent communication from owners. All made for a wonderful stay!

Such a cute little house, older but very comfortable. It was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. We had our 11yr old Ausie with us and having the fenced in back yard was perfect for him. Linda and Buck are very kind and helpful property managers/owners. Would gladly stay there again when in the area.

Cute cottage

This was our third time renting the cottage and we always enjoy our stay. It is close to everything you need and only a couple minutes drive to the beach. The owners are always welcoming and helpful.

Amazing weekend

My husband and I snuck away for the weekend and had an amazing stay. The property owners were amazing, very informative and super helpful. We cannot wait to go back stay again. Would recommend this place to everyone.

A wonderful getaway!

My fiancé and I had such a great stay! The home was so welcoming. We were so close to the beach and close to so many fun activities. The bed was so comfy and everything was so clean. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Pleasant stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean when we arrived, and it was easy to check in. Our host Linda was the primary contact, and communication was clear and easy. A binder with helpful information was provided. All the amenities provided worked, and beach accessories (towels, beach chairs) were provided. The cottage was very accommodating for our dog, which made us happy. Even though the house is on a busy road, we did not hear the traffic, which promoted a restful stay. Good location convenient to everything. Check out was easy as well. Thank you! We look forward to our next visit.

Charming house, nice and clean!

Cozy Vacation Rental

Our family of four enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. Everything was clean and the house was nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful with any questions that we had. It was a short drive to the beach and we always found public access parking. Since we always take our pets on vacation, the fact that the rental was pet friendly was a plus.

This is a cute older home that is very well stocked with kitchen essentials and linens. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. We loved watching the squirrel steal apples to eat the seeds while we had our morning coffee outback. I feel the price for this home was reasonable. The host communicated quickly and was very kind.

Close enough to go shelling & great kitchen for cooking!

Kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. Went down to the docks and bought the fresh catch of the day back to cook. Large table to eat or do puzzles on. We also had the option for outdoor dining, Linda & Buck are excellent to work with. Seating to watch tv very comfortable. The second bedroom mattress was a tad firm but this is coming from someone that has had 3 hip surgeries. Would highly recommend.

I could not have found a more perfect place or hosts in all of N. Carolina ! Cozy, home away from home. When you walk in the door the host has created an an amazing atmosphere of beachy relaxation. The kitchen is stocked with every imaginable appliance,dishes, glassware , cups, bowls,pots,pans, bbq needs… and a junk drawer! Home. Beds were comfy , plenty of linens, closets, hangers, and dressers!The yard was huge, with chairs , bbq and a deck with table, chairs and umbrella. Corn hole, games, books , beach towels and beach umbrella.. what can I say? Move in ready. I did not want to leave! In fact I added 2 days to my stay and Linda was very accommodating and easy to reach anytime I called. Book it! You will love every minute as I did. Thank you for the perfect getaway!

Can I Move In?

This place is fantastic, more than we could have hoped for! I’m a little reluctant giving a great review because then our secret is out and it might get booked nonstop! The house was immaculate, every possible amenity is thought of, the furniture is comfortable, and the location of the house is perfect. (As an aside, check out the details of the house. The crown molding is really cool) There’s a great sandwich shop next door, a grocery store is down the street to the left, and an ABC store is down the street to the right. What else could you ask for on a beach vacation? Getting back to the house, the patio out back is perfect for a night time margarita or a morning coffee. And the hosts are great. They checked in a few times to make sure everything was good after setting up a house that was the nicest Vrbo we have stayed in and had anything we could have possibly needed. To make a long story a little bit longer, the house is great, the hosts are great, and Holden Beach is great.

Cute Cottage, Perfect for our stay!

We traveled for a dance competition but had some days off and this cottage was perfectly balanced between the beach for fun and our venue. It was well cleaned, well appointed and easy to get into and out of for our stay. I live its charm. The hosts were very communicative throughout. I would definitely stay again.
