Anchor's Away- Canal House with Private Dock

Welcome to Anchor’s Away-the perfect beach house getaway. This Holden Beach canal house is a boater's paradise located on a deep-water canal with an aluminum ramp and private floating boat dock (boat lift is not for renter use), so bring your 35 FT boat or jet skis and fishing rods and make yourself at home.  No boat No problem you can fish right off the dock. The intercoastal waterway and family friendly beaches are just minutes away.



Conveniently located on the first set of canals you are only 5 houses away from beach access and a 5-minute walk to Holden Beach Pier, Ice Cream, and the Shops!!



This 3 BED/ 2 ½ BA family oasis boast an open concept floor plan with lofty ceilings and gorgeous exposed wood beams. The kitchen/dining/and living room oversee the dock. 



Kitchen-When it's time for dinner, whip up something tasty in the spacious kitchen, featuring stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, large pantry and a beautiful picture window overlooking the canal and dock.  Don't worry about cleanup - just leave your dishes for the dishwasher! You’ll find all the dishes, pots, pans, and other necessities you’ll need tucked away neatly in the many drawers and cabinets.



Dining Room -Has a grand 10-person table with more seating options outside by the barbecue. Right off the Dining room is a large screen porch, no mosquito's here!!  



Family Room- Enter the open and airy beach haven you’ve been dreaming of with Vaulted ceilings and a floor to ceiling fireplace. Get comfortable on the overstuffed leather couches and call the family in to watch a movie on the 75" Smart TV.



Bedrooms

Master Suite (located on 2nd Floor) -King bed, ceiling fan, Roku TV, large closet, street side view, with a full private bath with walk-in shower.  



The other 2 bedrooms are on the third floor, both with large closets and share a full Jack-n-Jill bath (tub/shower combo).



Bedroom #2- Queen bed, ceiling fan, Roku TV, with private balcony overlooking the canal



Bedroom #3 -Queen size bunk, ceiling fan and Roku TV. This room is perfect for kids or a family.  



Ground Level - Sit out back overlooking the canal with a fenced in yard that's perfect for the kids to play. Enjoy a backyard barbecue on the patio which has a propane grill (propane included) and a large outdoor table.   After a long day at the beach enjoy the outdoor shower with hot and cold water to rinse off and freshen up.  There is also a garage full of beach toys as well as a washer and dryer to keep your clothes and towels clean.  



Included with the house- (2) Sea Kayaks, (1) Canoe, (4) Adult Cruiser Bicycles, corn hole boards, assorted life vests (do not have every size), beach towels, umbrella, mat, cart, bogey boards, and chairs.



Food Lion Grocery store is close and convenient. BOGO deals every day!



Anchor’s Away is in a quiet, relaxed residential neighborhood. This is not the place to go if you' re looking for a party place or lots of night life



THINGS TO KNOW



Dock details: 24ft dock with cleats, dock has a gate with latch, fish cleaning station, and space to park a boat trailer at the home 



Security: The home is protected with security cameras: Front of house left side facing to the street and back of House right side facing Boat Dock/Lift.



Parking: Guests may park directly in front of the home. If there is a covered parking area and your vehicle is small enough to fit underneath it, you may use this during your stay. NOTE: Parking on the street and/or sidewalks is strictly prohibited and may result in a violation ticket or towing. 



Linens included: All Bedrooms will come with freshly clean sheets, comforter, pillow and pillowcases and Bathroom linens for 8 people (face, Bath, and hand towels). Beach Towels too!!



Starter House Essentials which will include the following: dish detergent, dish sponge, trash bags and (1) Roll of Paper towels and (1) Roll of Toilet paper per bathroom and Hand Soap.



Damage waiver: Guests are required to purchase the $79.00 property damage insurance which provides $31500.00 of coverage on the house for accidental damage.

Exactly what we were looking for

Our stay at Anchor's Away was perfect. It had exactly we were looking for- private dock with easy access to the intracoastal waterway, and short walk to the beach for the non-boating time. The house was very clean, well furnished, spacious, and comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again.

I could not say enough good things about this house! The house is beautiful, clean, organized and well stocked. The location was perfect as well. Our son enjoyed the short walk to the beach, fishing off the dock and riding bikes. We will definitely be renting again.

Great location and amenities

We had a wonderful three night stay at Anchor's Away - four adults, three tweens. Plenty of room for all of us and we loved the multiple porch areas for eating and relaxing. Location was perfect - the canal was great for fishing and or kayaking but yet a super quick five minute walk to the beach via the public access by the Holden pier. The kids loved fishing off the dock and looking for crabs. The extras provided by the host were what stood out for us - it was wonderful to be able to use the kayaks in the canals. The host also provided the beach gear we needed (beach cart, beach towels, boogie boards and beach mat) which means we did not have to bring everything from home. Lots of places to rinse off such as outdoor shower and foot spray to eliminate sandy feet in the house. Kitchen had everything we needed - lots of dishes, plates, silverware, pots and pans of various sizes etc and we found everything to be clean. We thought the house looked better than the pictures. Washer/dryer is accessible on the first floor by an inside stairwell. Becky was responsive to questions and we will definitely stay again if in the area.

Great house and a great time. Usually most homes dont have a quarter of the kitchen amenities that this home came with which was amazing. We had a great time relaxing in the home and enjoyed sitting on the dock. Home also came with everything you need to enjoy a beach stay; chairs, kayaks, bikes, you name it !!! Will def look to stay here again when we come back to Holden.

Perfect stay! It rained just about everyday but it didnt bother us. We would just look out at the canal or play games and puzzles. They had everything we needed there and never got bored. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay there the next time we come to holden beach!

Great beach house!

Great property right on the canal - the kids loved being able to fish anytime they wanted. The walk to the beach was super easy and it ws close to everything we needed. Clean, well-stocked, well located home is great for a family beach vacation! Would highly recommend!

Perfect getaway

We booked this place for only three nights and wish we could have stayed longer! It was perfect. The house was clean and well stocked. Love being on the canal but also only a 3 min walk to beach. Lots of fishing and kayaking and relaxing!

Great outdoor & indoor spot!

What a great space! Even though it rained the first day and a half of our stay, we had comfy couches to read books on, a big TV for movies, and the screened porch for a dry spot outside. Cooked several full meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Lovely outdoor space and dock to launch kayaks the next day, had a glorious lunch at the outside table. A fantastic spot to vacation. Would definitely stay again.
