"The room has been recently updated and was very clean and tastefully decorated for the beach. The owner has obviously put time and thought into the renovation. The extra touches also made it nice; pool noodles, games, not only for the room on a rainy day ,but also a game for on the beach and a beach umbrella. The owner was so kind and prompt in responding when I needed some last minute information. The view is perfect for sitting on the bench in the evening and people watching. As close to the beach as you can get, just cross at the corner. I would definitely recommend this place."

"Overall, it was all we needed for just the two of us. Clean, close to where are friends were staying on the beach and typically all we need is a bed and a shower. It’s great for someone that only needs the basics. Linens are not top quality. Apparently I overlooked that it’s a third floor room with no elevator. We are both older and have some mobility impairment but we only went in and out once a day so it wasn’t a big deal once we got everything carried in. Again, I believe it was my oversight. Downside: it’s a connecting room to a larger suite. Size was not an issue but it appears the larger suite controls the thermostat for both areas so we got quite warm which was a big thumbs down. Also the walls are quite thin and with it being a connecting room, we were lucky to have very quiet neighbors and we were really only there to shower and sleep."

"This cozy little getaway was perfect for me, my husband and our sweet 12 year old lab mix for her last beach trip. Great location to the beach and was the perfect calm & quiet atmosphere we needed for her. We Will definitely be staying again soon, the host was amazing with communication and the room was exactly as pictured and described. "

"We stayed with 3 other couples...so 4 couples...all friends! Spent lots of time on the beach, great meals cooked in the well-stocked kitchen and outside on the grill. Loved the spacious dining room table with enough chairs for dinner and mexican train afterwards! Enjoyed the rockers on the outside screened in porch and loved the outdoor shower! A fabulous week with lots of great memories made! Great place, very comfortable, and affordable!"

"Location is ideal for visits to Sunset Beach and/or OIB! We love staying at Sea Trail when we visit for a few days at a time. This room suited our needs well. Preferred it over a hotel, by far."
