Overall I had a wonderful experience. I like that there was a fridge and microwave in the hotel room, very convenient. The welcome cookies were tasty it felt like visiting a family.

Thank you for your review Ann. The Amerant arena is a five minute drive from our property. Please reach out to the hotel to further clarify your concerns.
The property was clean and provided easy access to the mall. The freebie transportation service was great! The staff was pleasant and helpful. The only drawback was that not even drinking water was provided in the room, although you got a microwave and refrigerator.

What a horrible experience. We booked a room and advised them that we would arrive after midnight. Doubletree confirmed that they would hold the room. But, when we arrived a 1:00AM we found out they were fully booked and our room was rented to another party. There were no vacancies in Fort Lauderdale. They offered us a parking space where we could sleep in our car for the night! Never again, DoubleTree = Double Booked

The hotel is outdated. The carpet is so old and dirty and has mold smell, the furniture is very, very old and the bed is uncomfortable

The worst check in experience I’ve ever had! Over 45 minutes in line to check in…. For a $310 a night hotel room. The people at the desk had no clue. Awful experience

Only real complaint was lack of enough staff to check people in in a timely fashion.
