Powell Lakehouse, rentable all four seasons, is available again to you and your family! What makes Powell Lakehouse different than our competitors? We take pride in the little details. Many amenities, new carpet, new couch, all new stainless steel appliances, a private hot tub open all year around, concrete dock, and terraced landscaping. A tornado hit us in 2017 and we upgraded almost everything outside. Everything inside was remodeled: mattresses, carpet, couches, chairs, and appliances were replaced in 2022. We have poured all our resources into our home. Yes, this is our home, not property we rent, but our personal home we rent. We just expanded the deck with a patio cover and a hot tub. Upgraded patio furniture adorn the property. We have a concrete dock with outdoor furniture for conversations in the shade, and chaise loungers in the sun. In addition, we finished the lakeside for enjoyable views and luxury accommodations with a conversation area, a dining area, a fire pit, and lighted pathways.

Not only is the outside like a 5-star hotel, but the inside is just as nice. The master bed has new 500 thread count sheets, and a new comforter. We supply the items others do not, such as beach towels, spices in the kitchen, frosty beer glasses in the freezer, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, bug spray, etc. There is a reverse osmosis water filtration system in the kitchen for drinking purified water at the Lake so no need to buy gallon jugs of drinking water.
Powell Lakehouse is the perfect vacation home for the romantic getaway, couples retreat, girls weekend, or small group. Not suitable for people with small children, no big parties, or not appropriate for those who can not walk stairs. The Lakehouse comfortably sleeps 5 with a new Queen bed in the master, and sleeps 3 children in a bunk bed and a twin bed or 2 adults in the 2nd bedroom, so no one has to climb the kid ladder to top bunk. Need more space? Why not inquiry about adding to your vacation the separate luxury Guesthouse. The Powell Guesthouse (Vrbo property ID 676532) is a completely separate living space filled with all the extras we don’t have in the lower house such as a Therapeutic King bed, large shower and double sinks, big kitchen, stackable washer and dryer, and large open concept living room. There’s another fire bowl outside the Guesthouse and the views are amazing. A great place for a separate couple, extended family, or just because you want the peace and quiet away from your own group.

The lake view and location is amazing! This vacation rental home is located on the 8mm in Buck Creek Cove, Sunrise Beach, MO. We are in the same cove as Millstone Big Thunder Marina (not the original Millstone but their second location) and Lakeshore Marina. From our house, you can see the twin islands which are across from Shady Gator's and Camden on the Lake.This cozy lake cottage has 2 BR (Queen bed in the Master, and a Bunk bed with a twin bed, sleeping 3 in the 2nd BR). Fully furnished with linens and towels provided. Comfortable hotel-quality robes provided for the Master Bedroom Guests. Kitchen is well equipped for any cook and there is a dishwasher, microwave, drip coffeemaker, crock pot, ice maker, water filtration system, and much more! Washer and Dryer are located in the one bathroom. Indoor and outdoor showers on site. Located right on the waterfront with an extra large swim dock in deep water cove. IT IS NOT A PLACE TO BRING YOUR OWN BOAT IN THE SUMMER (sorry rough water on weekends in the summer) as we keep our boat on the lift and our own Sea Doo on the lift. Deep water cove (28+ feet under the dock) Swim, float, and kayak or just enjoy the lake view. Cable TV in 2 rooms and free wi-fi on site. There is even an outdoor fire pit area for roasting marshmallows as well as an indoor wood-burning fireplace. Weekend (2 night minimum or 3 night minimum during Peak season) and weekly rentals available all year round.

Don't forget to bring your swimsuit even in the off season and enjoy the 2 person hot tub on the upper patio to see panoramic views of the lake. Watch shooting stars with an unobstructed view from the front deck.

NO GLASS BOTTLES please. In the summer, most areas like the dock, deck, porches, patios, and walkways are travelled by bare feet and we want to keep everyone safe. Smoking is allowed outside only and we have provided an ashtray for you. Please no smoking and especially no glass on the dock.

Close to HWY 5, near the toll bridge, for easy access to the other side of the lake. Quiet neighborhood. No parties. Paved road the entire way from Hwy 5 to house where you have off street parking on a new concrete driveway. No pets allowed. Maximum is 5 people in the Lakehouse and then if you add the Guesthouse which sleeps 2 (for an additional rate), you can sleep 7 on this property. We keep our boat on the lift year round and will let you know when we are coming by to take it out for the day. If you are bringing your own boat, you must get this pre-approved ahead of time, since there is not a lot of space to store your trailer and our cove is busy in the summer. The dock is the only space shared with the owners or other guests year round. Otherwise the whole place is yours! We live just a few miles away in Sunrise Beach if you need anything.
