Renovated House on Fence Lake for Families, Sunset View, Boat Dock, Snomo Access

"Our family of 6 stayed 6 nights in late September. It was our second visit. The home has a very well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the towels provided by the host are luxurious. Although we didn’t have kids along, the lower level has a ping pong table, two separate bedrooms, a very nice TV sitting area, and a video arcade game. Had to try a round of Ms. PacMan! Main level has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, full kitchen, sitting area with nice furniture and a Tv. Wi Fi worked 100% of our stay. The lake view is priceless! We fished off the pier, caught northern, bass, blue gills and perch. Rented a pontoon and fished and cruised to sightsee. Campfire area is nicer than any we’ve experienced. Very private, and wood was ready including kindling. Host is very responsive to all inquiries. Looking forward to another fall trip here in 2027!"

"This was the absolute perfect place for our end of summer getaway. The king bedrooms with ensuite baths gave privacy for all three couples, the fire pit situated by the sandy shoreline was perfect for evening smores, and there were more than enough watercraft, floaties, etc. for all day play. This was a great stay and we would come back again in a heartbeat!"

"We were looking for an old school, quiet, and peaceful retreat for a long weekend, and this place was just exactly what we were looking for. We could hear the loons calling on the lake as we fell asleep. We adventured to Manitou Waters and Boulder Junction for coffee each of the mornings to explore, and then explored their crystal clear waters of the lake at the cabin, and read on the dock all afternoon and evening. The little vintage cabin had everything we needed, and was great for making meals and relaxing. Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful there. Carie was an excellent communicator, and was so helpful and responsive for any questions we had. Hoping we can head back next summer."

"If you are looking for a quiet, very clean, super cozy, remote Northwoods cabin with an outstanding view/location right on a beautiful smaller 55 acre lake - THIS IS IT!! Sue’s place is awesome. Clean and cozy with a very well-stocked kitchen. The view is fantastic and really offers you that “up north” feeling. The canoe and kayak (included) are perfect additions for navigating the beautiful lake, and I would recommend the fishing boat with outboard motor (for a small weekly fee) as it is a nice addition for those who like fishing. Speaking of fishing, the lake is one of the best for that!! Also, NO WORRIES on communication with Sue. She responds quickly and accurately to all inquiries - she was the best!! The road in to her place is a bit more of a rocky access road via a tree-lined trail, but just go slow and you’re fine. But overall, this is a wonderful place that I would HIGHLY recommend!!!"
