gut lebt es sich in der alten Schmiede

Originelle, gepflegte Unterkunft. Aber es war heiss (vielleicht im Sauerland meistens nicht das grosse Problem), aber im schönen Dachraum war es sehr heiss, auch stickig, und wegen des Bienennestes verständlicherweise nicht zu lüften. Da müsste man sich was überlegen (z.B. Fenster am Aufgang klappbar ?)

Klein aber niedlich

Wir haben ein paar wirklich sehr schöne Tage in der kleinen umgebauten alten Schmiede verbracht. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Oben das Schlafzimmer ist sehr geräumig. Auch unten ist der Platz ausreichend. Besonders schön ist, dass man zwecks Licht und Belüftung den oberen Teil der Haustür extra öffnen kann. Wir sind mit großem Hund (30 kg) angereist. Für den war die Treppe nach oben doch sehr steil. Da muss man sich überlegen, ob man entweder den Hund unten schlafen lässt oder, so wie wir, ihn abends hoch und morgens wieder runter trägt. Von Melschede aus kann man wunderschöne Wanderungen starten. Nach Langscheid und somit zum Sorpesee sind es zu Fuß 3 km. Auch hier kann man herrlich am See entlang wandern, den Hund ins Wasser springen lassen und das eine oder andere Restaurant besuchen. Die alte Schmiede liegt sehr ruhig auf dem Schlossgelände und man kann sich dort wunderbar erholen. Hin und wieder verirren sich ein paar Wanderer oder Radfahrer auf dem Gelände. Das hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört. Die Kommunikation mit den dort lebenden und arbeitenden Personen war sehr nett. Kleiner Tipp für alle Anreisenden: Handyempfang ist sehr schwierig. Das ist zwar auch ruhig und gut, aber man sollte die zuvor bekommenen Informationen sich schon einmal runtergeladen haben. Der an der Tür angebrachte QR-Code mit allen wichtigen Dingen ist erst einsehbar, wenn man sich im hauseigenen WLAN angemeldet hat. Wir können die alte Schmiede sehr weiterempfehlen und haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt.

Schnuckelige Unterkunft!

Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt. Das Häuschen ist liebevoll eingerichtet, hat alles, was man braucht. Die Betreuung sehr gut und freundlich. Die Landschaft drumherum ist wundervoll. Wir kommen wieder!
