Wow! This place was so cute and nice! We wish we could have stayed longer. It is a ways off the beaten path, but that’s part of the charm. Breakfast at the farmhouse was amazing! We just loved it! Hopefully we can come back again.

On our one evening here, we went out onto the porch of our cabin after dark to have a beer and look at the stars. While we were goggling at the Milky Way, horses out in the field were chuffling and whinnying in the dark, and it was kinda magical. I've never stayed anywhere that offered that kind of experience.
The landscape around the ranch is beautiful, the cabins are clean and cute, the saloon is fun place to stop in for a drink and game of pool, and the bacon at breakfast was incredible. Others who were staying longer arranged horseback riding for themselves the next day. When we did have a problem (we got our car stuck in some mud outside our cabin), I called the host's number, and a pair of cowboys showed up within 10 minutes to help us out. All in all it was a great place to stay.
Not the biggest, just the Best working Cattle Ranch with cabins.Picked it for our 25th. Wife is a Big horse Lover. They did not need our help in July or August. Special thanks to some of the staff, Chris the trail boss Ladina the Superb cook, and the Bull-Horned hood ornament of the place. Cowboy Hawkeye Henson. For his stories and entertainment. Thanks to all ...
Monty, our host, was gracious and joined at the full ranch breakfasts provided as part of the reservation. There were no kitchen facilities but the free breakfast was very filling and arrangements could be made for ranch dinners for a nominal fee. The loft bedroom brought back nostalgic memories of climbing in haylofts as kids. Ranch horses were grazing just across the lane when we arrived and several curious individuals sauntered over closer to check us out. Quiet, welcoming, and a real haven. A wonderful stay!
Was traveling with a dog and needed place for night. This ranch was great place. Working ranch with cattle and horses. Stopped by saloon for drink after long day driving. Everyone friendly. Would love to come back and stay longer.
We stayed 2 nights really enjoyed the piece an quite. Watchin the horses, turkeys was soothing. We had our dogs who loved running in the fields. The ranch house meals were good and fun. Hanging out with Monty Hawkeye Henderson in the saloon while he played guitar and sang was great as well.

Not what we expected
Very primitive duplex.
Killed 2 dozen flies in the unit.
Weeds growing up through the steps and porch.
Photo is deceiving.
Forfeited our next stay in order to find other accommodations.
We loved our stay! The cabin was small but that's all we needed. We chose Kira Creek because we were visiting Daughter in area. We didn't take in all ranch fun but maybe in the future. Breakfast was always a treat getting to converse with staff and other guests who are from all over the states and the world. Food was a traditional cowboy breakfast of meat and eggs - not so good for a vegan but toast and cereal was available.
Our granddaughter (5 yrs old) decided to stay with us a couple of nights in the Loft. It was a special memory for all of us!
We absolutely loved the property and the surrounding area. I stayed here with my husband and two kids (9&13). Cabin #3 was a perfect fit for us! Due to a storm coming in, we had to cut our stay short for travelling reasons. We were bummed to leave early but have hopes of returning one day!
