"Great service and always an amazing stay at Summerland Waterfront Resort! "

"The hotel was beautiful. However there were some issues. Firstly, we stayed for 3 nights and on the second full day at 2pm our room still had not been cleaned. Garbage was overflowing, so we called the front desk and they said they we were on the list to be cleaned that day. Does housekeeping not come daily anymore at hotels? They came when we left and emptied the garbages, gave us new towels but only made 1 of the 3 beds. We were gone hours so it’s not like the didn’t have time to make the other two beds. On our last night we went to the pool and hot tub with our kids. When we got out all of our skin was itching and dry. My bathing suit was ruined from off balance chemicals. It bleached my black bathing suit to brown. We talked to the front desk and they had maintenance check the chemicals. We were told they were higher and they would give us 10% off our stay. However later after we checked out I received an email from the hotel saying the chemicals were within safe limits. Considering it ruined my bathing suit and all of our skin and hair feels dried out, this cannot be true. "

"The rooms and beds where great bathroom need updating taps hard to turn on and off and sink and toilet are way too low for average size adult "

"Amazing service. Great location and wonderful amenities. The hotel i ooo s showing its age but i i s clean and has a lot of character. All in all it was a wonderful stay. "

"Only criticism was not knowing the parking access was in an alley but other than that this is the place to stay downtown if you want to be close to the water"

"Be aware they charge $20 for parking at check out, they gave us a parking pass and said to park wherever we find an opening and said nothing about having to pay $20 for a nights stay, unbelievable. Hotel is starting to show signs of age but was pretty clean otherwise. Shampoo was empty in the bathroom so had to use body wash. Charging for parking ($20) plus paying around $260 will not bring me back to this hotel. "
