"Very convenient location but can’t say much for the rooms, food or staff. At dinner we ordered a potato and vegetable soup but it was just a bunch of soggy veg in a bowl of microwaved water and it only had one tiny chunk of potato in. Afterwards, I politely asked if I could settle my bill in the morning when I checked out. I was obviously in no way trying to get out of paying I just wanted to use the 200,000 idr that I had paid as a room deposit (which was a strange thing in itself) because I was leaving the country and wouldn’t get another opportunity to use that amount of cash. Instead of trying to help or even politely declining the man smirked at me and said no madam very condescendingly. I tried to explain that my last cash was given as the room deposit but he just continued shaking his head and laughing not even hearing me out. I don’t really mind the poor food, semi clean room or even that I had to pay with card instead of finishing off my cash but the bad customer service was the real disappointment of my stay."

"When we arrived, our room was very smelly and there was a lot of mould in the wardrobe. We told the reception and they moved us to another room that was nice and clean, however the whole process took about 2hrs and was not great as we were very tired and wanted rest. The next bad experience was dinner. We went to have dinner in the restaurant, ordered a steak and Eggplant parmigiana and two glasses of the local wine. The steak was terrible, completely inedible and we had to send it back and the same with the house wine. The Eggplant was ok. The "dinner" that was not eaten cost us 420,000.00 and as they told us the house wine was 8K but they charged us 12.5K per glass. This was common as we kept being told the prices on the menu where not correctand they charged us more then was listed. This was a horrible experience and we ended up getting KFC from across the road. The good parts were the breakfast was really good, the long Island iced tea's were great, however watch the pricing, there is 2 different prices on the menu and they charge more then listed so that was disappointing. The massages were the highlight for us, they were amazing and really well priced. Overall, we will not be coming back."

"Air conditioning not satisfactory, room not serviced and had to ask for servicing. Staff are very nice. The pool is dirty and needs upgrading as does the entire hotel, very run down. I’m sure it was classy when first built but those days are in the distant past. Central location. Television not working properly. No SMART TV. Bidet broken and non existent, toilet seat broken."

"Foreign traveller one night. Front office manager tried to overcharge me for laundry. I ended up just leaving my clothes there. Front office manager tried to overcharge me for breakfast. I ended up just telling him to skip it. Front office manager tried to overcharge me for airport shuttle bus. I just ended up just taking Gojek. When writer brought this up to front office manager he demanded the prices he wanted, argued in length with writer in the front lobby of the hotel in front of other patrons and his staff. Awful, stressful experience, will not be staying there again."
