  • Welcome to the Ford Family Seaside Cottage! This charming vacation rental, built in 1908, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. You'll love the spacious open areas and the inviting southern-style screened porch that greets you with a warm ocean breeze. The cottage features three cozy bedrooms on the first level, including two king-sized beds and a queen bed, as well as two additional bedrooms on the second level with four built-in bunk beds and a fifth bedroom with a queen bed and a balcony overlooking the ocean. The well-equipped culinary kitchen is a delight for any chef, complete with a gas range, double ovens, and two large refrigerators to keep your beach coolers full. If you prefer dining out, you'll find the freshest seafood and fantastic restaurants just a short walk away. With its welcoming atmosphere and all the comforts of home, the Ford Cottage is the perfect choice for families, accommodating 8 to 10 guests most comfortably. Jill and the Ford Cottage did not disappoint! What a beautiful home. Our family had a great time exploring Sullivans Island and Charleston and then returning each evening for a relaxing walk on the beach and time on the screened in porch! Thank You!

Great getaway

This is a beautiful, comfortable beach house. Only thing missing was an espresso machine! (I brought my own) We will stay here again. Love Sullivan's Island.

Beautiful spot on the beach

The Ford cottage is wonderfully decorated and equipped. Access to the beach is a few steps out of the door and the basement area has showers to get the sand off before getting back into the house. Our favorite part was the expansive back veranda with a view to the sea that you can enjoy any time of day.

Lovely, Charming Cottage

We loved our stay and want to come back soon! We were a 2 block walk to all the restaurants on Sullivans, and close to the Boardwalk that led to the Beach! The house was built in the 1908 so it has lots of charm...and a great screened in porch with rocking chairs and hammocks.....thee kind of porch you do not want to leave.
