We loved our stay at Lucky Stone Retreat! Private, beautiful, close to town -but steps to the water! The sunrise view from our bed was so nice to wake up to!

Absolutely amazing stay

The house is absolutely perfect. It’s clean, the views are incredible and gives a super luxury feeling. The kitchen is fully stocked and great to cook in. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back again.

Perfect Maine Romantic Weekend

The view of Acadia National Park was perfection. The home was beautiful, comfortable and exceeded expectations. The kitchen had everything we needed. Truly memorable.

Frankly the best stay ever ! Blessed with beautiful weather we enjoyed every minute of the views, access to the private beach, and the comfort of this amazing retreat ! The setup of the house is just perfect, waking up in the morning looking at the water from our bed was just a forever memory ! So thankful to the owners for sharing such a gem.

Relaxation at it's best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lucky Stone Retreat. The views are unmatched. We really enjoyed coffee in the cool morning air and evening beverages on the deck. It was so relaxing and quiet. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting the Bar Harbor/Acadia area.

Stunning place

The pictures on the listing don't quite do this place justice, it is absolutely stunning. When sitting on the deck the view is impeccable and seeing Acadia from the deck is the icing on the cake. I loved how clean and pretty everything was inside.

Peaceful retreat

This was one of the best rentals we have been in. So quiet. Out of the hustle of the crowds but close enough to do everything in the Acadia area. We loved it!

Amazing home!!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few nights and it was absolutely gorgeous! The house was very clean when we arrived. The views of Acadia were stunning and hard to beat especially towards sunset. We wish we had more time to try out the sauna. WOULD COME BACK!!

Wonderful get-away!

This was a beautiful place! The setting right on Frenchman's Bay couldn't have been nicer. The view was amazing and striking even from the king size bed when we woke up in the morning- and while you're taking a shower! The interior decor was lovely and provided a very comfortable retreat after our daily adventures. We have rented homes a number of times through Vrbo and this was the best one yet. We had a great week!

Secluded Getaway

This home is fantastic! Quiet location with unparalleled views (from both the living room and master bedroom) made for a great stay. So nice to gaze out over the bay, from inside or relaxing on the deck. We wanted to be able to access Acadia without the hassle of Bar Harbor and this place fit the bill perfectly! Property is excellently furnished, was very clean and well stocked for all of our needs. Great communication from a very responsive host. Hoping to stay here again!

Wow! Wow! Wow!!

Don’t miss on this one!! The other reviews were right on the “mark”!! This place is extremely special and the view in the evening over the bay was magical. It literally felt like a painting. They have the place well decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. Not to mention the Swedish spa next door!! We loved everything about this place and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely Perfect!

This was by far one of the BEST rental homes I’ve ever stayed at. From the views, to the cleanliness of the home, to ALL of the amenities and carefully crafted home features. The house is extremely well stocked for any type of cooking you prefer to do too! They did not cut any corners. My new husband and I had an absolutely amazing stay here. 100% recommend!

A peaceful retreat

We loved our stay at The Lucky Stone retreat. It’s a beautifully appointed home in a very quiet location. The views of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia are fantastic. The spa is also a very tranquil and wonderful experience. We enjoyed the ease of hiking on the Schoodic Peninsula. It’s a little farther to get to Mount Desert Island but it wasn’t a bad drive. It was about 45-55 minutes depending on the day and time. We enjoyed visiting Bar Harbor but having this quiet place for ourselves and our dogs. The wraparound porch is awesome. There is also a nice gate that swings shut to close off the stairs. That allowed us to enjoy time on the porch without worrying about the dogs running off. I definitely recommend this location. We cooked pretty much all of our meals here and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks for letting us stay in this beautiful home!

Perfect retreat with beautiful view-owner needs to fire third party company

We've rented vrbo homes in past, but this was by far the worst checkin ever. After driving 15hrs to get there and messaging the host 2x with no response, we get to the home. We spent 2.5 hrs on the phone with VRBO agents who kindly and graciously tried to help us to no avail. They were actually having us rent another property, if we could, for the week and if we could not find one, we had to do a hotel. needless to say i was about in tears. At this time, it was 630 pm and finding a place that was comparable and going to be covered takes a bit of time After being on hold trying to get a resolution, a person who helps the property owner, called us and apologized. She was dismayed that an email with our check in information was never sent....travelnest is the intermediary company and they dropped the ball. --- once checked in, we had a fantastic stay. The view was amazing, the activities were close, and having a private Little Beach was perfect. The home was cozy with plenty of amenities to make it a perfect stay. Thank you for making our anniversary a memorable one,!!

Great Little House
