"I loved everything about it! The cleanliness was the best part. That is always the number 1 thing I look at and they get a A+"

A small studio apartment located in the middle of beautiful Amish country.

"I don’t know so much as it was the host issue, but when I got to the property, I could not access the code on the door because I booked through Expedia and the host sent a message to Vrbo with the code. I did not know I had to access Vrbo for this reservation since I booked through Expedia I think that was the main confusion. Other than that the property was great. I think guest should be aware there’s no bar soap or shampoo or anything like that just some pump soap at the sink. I was not prepared for this because I was treating it more as a motel stay and did not have shampoo and such with me. The carpet was a little stained. I felt as a senior woman traveling alone at the door should’ve had a curtain over it for privacy at night. Location was pretty private, but the entry door had a large frosted window and you could actually see shadows and stuff through it at night so I felt a curtain probably would’ve been helpful. Overall, it was a great stay for the money. I think just a little more attention to a couple things and it could’ve got a five star."

"My mom and I took a getaway for her 80th birthday and stayed at Sugarcreek Village Inn. The room was spotless and even smelled clean. It appeared to have been recently updated with comfortable and tasteful decor. The bed was very comfy. We felt very safe and secure as you need two codes to get into the building and then into the room. The massage chair was an added bonus. They provide ice and water which we were very grateful for.If I were to recommend anything, it would be to have a couple chairs and a small table in the room. We brought dinner back to the Inn, but there was nowhere in the room to eat it. It didn’t matter to us because the big beautiful porch had tables that we could sit at to eat since the weather was nice, but that could be a problem for people visiting in the winter. Better lighting in the bathroom would also helpful. The instructions on getting in the building and checking out are on a little card that they provide at check-in. I ran into several folks that did not know how to check out or get into the building. Perhaps mentioning this at check-in could help with the confusion. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle, but close to anything you need. We met some very nice people here and would 100% recommend this for someone looking for a quiet, comfortable friendly place to stay."
