Rock Stalls Natural Sanctuary is a 70 acre private preserve in the Hocking Hills area that is owned and operated by Camp Akita, but the management of Camp Akita also allows access to the general public.

The sanctuary is definitely off the beaten path in the sometimes tourist heavy hocking hills area. It offers a quiet bit of respite with beautiful scenery in a box canyon with a creek and waterfalls.

"This little cabin was exceptional!!!! Super cozy! The high was only in the 20’s and we stayed nice and warm! Absolutely loved the large windows to lay in bed and look out! Our French Bulldog had a blast, they had him water dishes, and he loved the windows also!!!! They think of everything, we had a s'mores kit, great coffee that was really neat to make, hot chocolate, several nice teas, popcorn, a very prepped kitchen area, large shower, even aluminum foil!!! The fire pit area was super nice, great chairs, grill, and free firewood with fire starters!!! If you stay in Hocking Hills this is the place to stay and did I mention they even have their own nature trail!!!! The staff was very responsive! We will definitely make this our go to place when we visit!!!!"

Its architecture is stunning, and the home was clean and well-stocked, making our stay comfortable. The owner was incredibly prompt, attentive, and kind, always ready to assist us with a friendly, helpful attitude. We look forward to coming back! "
