Short stay

No parking on site had to park the car 5 mins up the road in a public car park. No internet connection. Room felt damp and towels were thin and old.

Sehr nettes Personal. Freundlicher und schneller Service. Gutes Essen! Es ist ein sehr altes Fachwerkgebäude, mit einigen Nachteilen, die daraus resultieren. Für gehbehinderte Personen eher nicht zu empfehlen. Kein Parkplatz in Nähe der Unterkunft! Ansonsten für einen Kurzaufenthalt völlig in Ordnung.

Nettes Personal, ruhige Umgebung. Gemütliches Bett und guter Schlaf. Das Zimmer hatte alles Notwendige. Wenn man sich in der Umgebung aufhält, ist die Unterkunft sowieso nur für den Schlaf da. Essen kann man dort allerdings auch gut.

Da wir Fachwerk lieben, waren die Balken im Zimmer überhaupt kein Thema. Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Stadt. Das heißt, alles ist leicht zu Fuß erreichbar. Obwohl unser Zimmer zur Durchgangsstraße hin lag, war es nicht laut. Schön wäre es allerdings gewesen, wenn man wie bei anderen Buchungsseiten solche Präferenzen vorab abfragen würde. Das Frühstück war mittelmäßig. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort absteigen.

Småt og hyggeligt!

Gasthaus Kupfer er et meget charmerende lille hotel lige i centrum af Stolberg. Da huset har den alder, det har, må man leve med smalle, stejle trapper, en brusekabine med skråvægge og forholdsvis små værelser. Men det var altsammen med til at bidrage til den hyggelige atmosphere. (ikke handicapvenligt!!)

Hier kehre ich her wieder ein.

Schönes und sauberes Zimmer. Bad mit Dusche klein. Waschbecken so groß, wie auf einem ICE Klo. Eiskalt duschen ist super mit ordentlichem Wasserdruck. Warm duschen = Manneken Pis, dauert eben was länger. Großer öffentlicher und kostenloser Parkplatz in der Nähe. Das Abendessen war ein Gedicht. Frühstück mit allem was dazu gehört, gutem Kaffee, frischen Spiegeleiern, etc.

Wen es nicht stört,das alte und gebrauchte Möbel dastehen. Ist es eine schöne Unterkunft, Mit Frühstück sind wir zufrieden gewesen, es wurde uns immer frisch angerichtete Rühreier od. Spiegeleier Angeboten. Und die Angestellten waren immer für einen da, wenn man Fragen hat.

Motorrad Tour

Die Zimmer und das Frühstück waren wirklich top. Die Portionen beim Abendessen sind für Männer nicht wirklich ausreichend, deshalb haben wir am zweiten Abend auch in einem anderen Lokal gegessen. Wir waren mit 8 Personen auf unserer Motorrad Tour dort und konnten / durften sogar das private Carport nutzen. Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt dort OK.

Ein gelungener Aufenthalt

Das Hotel ist schön und liegt sehr zentral. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist stets hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und umfangreich. Rührei und Spiegeleier werden immer frisch zubereitet. Bei einem weiteren Aufenthalt in Stolberg werden wir wieder in dieses Haus gehen.

Leider nicht wieder

Das Zimmer war ok, leider aber morgens ab 05:00 Uhr recht laut, da zur Strassenseite gelegen. Service ließ leider zu wünschen übrig. Rechnung konnte nicht direkt bei Anreise gezahlt werden, keine Handtücher im Zimmer und morgens beim Frühstück wurden leider nur die anderen Gäste nach ihren Wünschen gefragt. Gäste mit Hund im Frühstücksraum. Obwohl der Bäcker gegenüber des Hotels ist, gab es leider nur Aufbackbrötchen und diese waren nicht fertig gebacken. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend.
