The friendly, professional and organized staff was everything at this hotel. The awesome staff helps one overlook the worn but clean and cared for spaces. We were a large and demanding group (20 people) but they treated us all fairly every time. In our experience this was the best service we have ever experienced travel with this world wide travel group for the past 20 years.

This place is right in the city center of Stuttgart. You will walk around the corner and all the shopping and food you can handle is right there.

The property had real character and the staff were very helpful, which I appreciate. The location was very convenient too for exploring central Stuttgart by foot. However, a few things in my room didnt really work - the shower pressure was so low and temperature of the water inconsistent, and some of the plug sockets didnt work. With some maintenance this place could be great!

Disappointed that there were no coffee making facilities in the room. There was also some noisy building work being carried out after 0800. Apart from this the hotel was near the City centre, which was our main criteria.

The staff at Hotel Royal were outstanding. Due to some travel plans falling through and despite us requiring multiple extensions/repeated last minute bookings over 5 days, they helped to secure accomodation for my friend and I for all but 1 night, due to being sold out. We were very happy with the older style rooms which had character and comfort combined. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Stuttgart-Mitte. The bars and restaurants in the area are incredible.

I felt like I was in a time capsule. It was the most bizarre feeling - legitimately like we entered a different stage. The bathrooms and rooms need updating but the hotel was central and good walkability

What's the main purpose for staying in a hotel? Sleeping of course. Can't be done very well if the beds are hard as a rock. Also, can't be done if so much construction is being done that it sounds like a thunderstorm outside your window and not any good thunderstorms that let you sleep either.

Pluspunten: centraal gelegen aan de rand van het centrum, algehele indruk is netjes en verzorgd, zowel algemene ruimtes als kamer. Ruime kamer met voldoende opbergruimte. Verbeterpunten: weinig eigen parkeerruimte, nogal warme kamer maar geen werkende airco en met de ramen open veel straatgeluid, water lekt onder de douchedeur door.
