"Easy enough to find on Sat Nov I had a 2 night stay, the property had plenty of parking space and good outdoor space for sitting. All facilities worked well and were clean, the owner/ host showed extensive knowledge of the area which aided my stay.
My breakfasts were super offering quality and variety..worth it just for the breakfast.
I would not hesitate making a return visit."

"A very comfortable stay in a lovely guesthouse, well situated in Castle Cary. The hosts gave a very warm welcome and we appreciated their local knowledge and tips. Breakfast was exceptional with a great variety fresh fruits and compotes, as well as homemade granola and pastries. All in all, one of the best stays we’ve had. Highly recommended."

"Really accommodating host.
We needed an early check in and this was sorted for us no problem.
Clean room. Comfy bed. Good shower.
Although no-one manned the reception, the host was easy to get hold of and made the stay easy as pie.
Thank you very much"

"Wow!!! Upon arrival our hearts sank. As you look at the building the right side looked dilapidated - curtains across windows at an angle and an air of disrepair. We almost drove back out.
However once you enter the double doors it’s like another world. Great reception area, clean and bright with two friendly receptionists ready to book in guests.
The rooms were bright and immaculately clean, with air conditioning, table and 2 chairs and a 6’0 bed. The bathroom was large and beautifully designed with lovely complimentary toiletries. The shower was a power shower with no heating issues.
Great little drinks tray on the vanity, various teas and coffees and two hot choc sachets as well as two bottles of still water.
If I had to be picky I’d say the TV could be bigger and a plug socket by the bed would be great but as a work trip staying one night it wasn’t an issue.
Overall ignore the facade and enjoy the hotel on the inside! "
"Every staff member I interacted with were helpful & lovely. Especially at check-in.
The hotel is well looked after, I could smell paint so that was a good sign! Great location, easy to walk the esplanade or you can hop on a bus for a few stops.
The room was great, very clean, nicely decorated, good blackout curtains, and very big comfortable bed.
The breakfast buffet was great, plenty of staff to help & keep it maintained.
I would recommend & would stay again."
"There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark."
"We really loved our stay at The Bull. I’ve been to many Fuller’s pubs in the past but never stayed in one of their hotels and after this great experience I will seek out other sites they run. The Bull was a character filled old building, renovated to a beautiful standard - impeccably clean, absolutely loved the décor too. Breakfast was really big and also full of quality ingredients. Great quality sheets and I love Bramley bath products. Staff very friendly. We stayed in the suite which was HUGE and really comfy, great value for such a nice property. Oh also they gave us a free drink at the pub downstairs since we were staying over, really nice touch! And free parking always helps. Hope to return sometime."
"Very old well maintained clean hotel right on the sea front. Easy walking distance to all the amenities. Staff really nice, nothing was too much trouble. Dog was spoilt and loved his stay. Would stop again"
