    Lazy Bear Lodge is a private 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home in secluded Shirttail Gulch, less than a mile east of Deadwood on paved roads with easy I-90 access. Surrounded by Black Hills forest, it's a popular spot to unwind after a day on the slopes, trails, or touring the Hills, with a wrap-around deck and a private six-person hot tub for soaking under the stars.

Beautiful home and area!!

I would highly recommend this home!! It’s close to everything and yet secluded enough that there was no loud traffic noise, etc.. There were deer everywhere and it was an incredibly peaceful area. We stayed here with two of our adult kids/one spouse as we do in the Black Hills every summer and this was the nicest one we’ve stayed in yet!! Beautiful home!! We will definitely stay here again!!

Nice location

Good location for all the monuments and Deadwood. Property had some details lacking for the price (broken toilet, no drawer or cabinet pulls also burned out light in master closet) but was overall a five star place. Jim who came to fix toilet was very nice and helpful. Would stay there again.

Quiet, beautiful, and relaxing

The house was beautiful and private, quiet and relaxing. Close to local attractions. Ideal family getaway. Only recommendation would be to have clearer instructiins on entry--the code did not work, use of checkmark only mentioned once in early information, and no instructions for locking the door--may not have been working properly. Telephone help was prompt and helpful.
