Our charming holiday home is located in Strohn—in the heart of the Vulkaneifel, with its many volcanic lakes.
It is surrounded by a small slate hill, overlooking meadows and fields. A hike through the Strohner Schweiz, a visit to the Volcano Museum, or direct access to the Maare-Mosel Bike Trail offer nature-filled experiences right on your doorstep. In summer, the Pulvermaar (2 km) is perfect for swimming. In winter, the fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere and a relaxing retreat.

Since we have deep roots in the Vulkaneifel, we’ve recently renovated and refurnished this idyllic holiday home for ourselves and our guests. The light-colored furnishings, combined with modern design, create a cosy atmosphere where you can feel right at home.
Enjoy the spacious living/dining area and the light-filled rooms.
Find your favourite spot in front of the fireplace, watch a film on the cosy couch, or relax while taking in the wonderful view of the green surroundings.

Each room features a double bed, comfortable mattresses, and shelves, a chest of drawers, or a closet. The apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi and a large TV in the living room.
Bed linens and towels are included in the price.
The garden is fully fenced and includes a large lawn with several trees, as well as a sunny patio with patio furniture, an umbrella, and lounge chairs.

Bicycles can be conveniently stored in the garage, so you can set out on a bike ride at any time.

Strohn offers a wide variety of activities and excursions. Visit the Volcano Museum, see the impressive lava bomb, or go hiking in the Strohner Schweiz. The nearby Eifelsteig trail is perfect for hikes, for example to the traditional Manderscheid castle ruins. This is also where the via ferrata is located.

The Pulvermaar and Schalkenmehrener Maar provide refreshing relief on hot days, and a city tour to Trier or Koblenz is also an ideal day trip by car. Wine lovers will find plenty to enjoy in the historic county seat of Cochem on the Moselle.
In Gillenfeld, 3 km away, you’ll find shopping options, several excellent butchers, as well as restaurants and cafés.
Relax in 110 m² of living space.
The entrance is reached via a staircase, so unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible. Access is via the garage roof, which currently does not have a railing.
For this reason, we do not yet recommend booking this property with small children.
