"This house is just as it is described in the listings. Very nicely decorated, extremely clean, with comfortable beds... even the daybeds in the game room. I've been using rental houses for 30 years and it had the most well-equipped kitchen that I've ever encountered. The host was very responsive and pleasant to deal with.The neighborhood is nothing to get excited about but it is very close to the aquarium and everything else downtown but still in a quieter area across the river."

"Wonderful hotel. Beautiful and relaxing interior design, comfortable bed and nice exterior areas. Personnel were very friendly, polite and helpful. Also, the hotel is located in a vibrant area with lots of restaurants and pubs. This place is a significant step up from the major hotel chains and I really appreciated it. Thank you!"

"The room was very clean. The staff was very helpful when needed. My AC was a wee bit on the noisy side but still doable w/o discomfort. The bar and entertainment was great. The pool was very clean and the area around the pool was clean. For an older hotel it was very nice. I much prefer a hotel you can walk right on out to your car to. Also, it was not noisy at all and my room was ground level around the pool. I would definitely stay here again as long as the owner/management and level of cleanliness stays the same."

"A beautiful, unique, charming hotel with an excellent staff, unique art installations, conveniently located to Tennessee River access, walking trails, shopping, excellent restaurants and coffee shops. Rooftop bar is a must for sunset over the mountains. Room was comfortable and spacious with plenty of room to unpack. Hotel had thoughtful touches throughout with a helpful and friendly staff to assist with anything needed. We will be back! Enjoy!"

The Loft

"On the positive side the room was very clean and nice. There were free bottles of water which were already cold in the fridge. That was very nice as we ended up in Chattanooga on a record breaking heatwave. The room stayed nice and cool.The only real problem we had was actually finding out how to get to the room. Though the address leads you to the house. It does not lead you to the room. In order to find the entrance to the Loft room you must go up a side street (the one before you get to the house, if you are coming from the city) in order to reach the "back alley" which is where the entrance to the room is. When you turn into the back street it is the first turn to your right. This actually looks like it is a driveway. It does turn into an alley way which is very narrow. My suggestion to the owner would be to put better directions to your guest as to how to get into this back alley. Also it would have been nice if there had been a sign which told you that you were at the correct place. Just a sign saying "Welcome to the Loft" would have been great. Having said all that. It was a great 4th of July. The room was comfortable and the area was quiet. Just a few tweaks and you could easily clear up the directions."
