"Charming, family run hotel in a quiet section of Plauen, close to the city center. Breakfast included and really good. Staff helpful. Owner kind enough to sell me a beer even though restaurant had closed. She found me a charger for my IPad, Room was small but comfortable, clean and priced well. "I stayed at this hotel late March / Early April 2026. The staff were attentive and friendly and my room was really big. Breakfast buffet was very well presented and delicious. I was given a lovely drink and treat on check in and was shown around the hotel by a member of staff which was a lovely touch. I would have given a higher rating but there was a really bad smell in my room the first 3 days. We were informed there was a problem with the water so on my last night we had no water from 10pm to 4am the following morning. Water also went off the following morning, so I was unable to shower before check out. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay"
