"Very quiet "

"Marie was a wonderful host. She was very welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable. Her place was beautifully furnished, very cozy, and comfortable. It had a fully stocked kitchen. It was centrally located in town and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We loved that Haley Pond was across the street. We enjoyed sitting out on the front lawn overlooking the pond and listening to the loons. We plan to come back to Rangeley and stay at her place again."

"Great surprise when the owner welcomed us with a smile, showed us around his property and gave us good dining advices. We lived the room and breakfast options in the cozy kitchen. Overall a great experience, will stay there again."

"All I can say is wow! This place is incredible! Pics do not do this place justice. Literal 360 degree views in a modern home. I can't believe we were out in the middle of the woods with these view but also with a fully modern house. We absolutely enjoyed our time. Anyone who wants to get away and decompress from the day to day needs to come here. You don't realize how much you need it until you are here. Sitting outside and watching the shooting stars was one of the most peaceful nights I've ever had. Everyone couldn't stop raving about it. We also shot up to Rangely which is a great little town and rented some side by sides which was a blast! Definitely come with you supplies and food as you wont want to run out if you can avoid it or intentially going somewhere. The driveway really is 5.5 miles. I didn't really believe it until we got here but the hosts instructions where very helpful and easy to follow. We will most certainly be back! We won't forget this place. I have a feeling it will come up time and time again over the years. What a trip!"

"Check-in instructions were emailed a few days in advance. The cabin is so cute and cozy. Having 6 of us, it was a little cramped inside, BUT, we spent 90% of our time outdoors anyway. The beds are super comfortable! They had all the basics we needed, like toiletries, a coffe/keurig combo machine with pods readily available. There are a few basic seasonings and such in the kitchen. Theres a breeze way room/porch that helped really expand the living space inside. (Great for morning coffee)The washer& dryer are in the basement (outdoor access). There was laundry soap there, though we'd brought our own. There are 3 kayaks down by the dock, which we used multiple times a day. There's a screened in gazebo down at the lake also, which was perfect for afternoon picnics on the lake. Hottub was excellent!!!They have cornhole, badminton, ping-pong, a volley ball, and ladder ball so you cant run out of outdoor activities. Would absolutely stay here again!!Only downside to the entire trip: the bathroom is TINY!!! Small inconvenience that had no real affect on our stay. "

"Lois greeted me and was very welcoming, showed me some of Paul’s woodwork and showed me around the cabin and grounds. It was extremely peaceful and cozy, very close to bigelow and flagstaff, and a nice fire pit out back, cool outdoor kitchen and comfy bed. I was happy and grateful. "

"Communication for check in was great. Home was very well equipped. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Our sleeping space was roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed the large and open living area. We also were able to spend time on the spacious deck and use the firepit! We would definitely stay here again and recommend this home to others. "

"Our stay at Sunset Cabin was an escape to paradise! The cabin provided everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was very clean and perfect for a romantic getaway. From the gorgeous views of the lake, night time fire pits, and many things to do in Rangeley we did not want to leave! Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"The Cottage on the Kennebec is exactly as advertised. We explored the area (Houston Brook Falls, Moxie Falls, and Jackman Trading Post are highly recommended!), but spent a lot of time just enjoying the property kayaking, grilling, sitting by the river, playing games, and using the fire pit. Mike and Kim were very friendly and made us feel welcome while respecting our privacy."
