Cozy niche where you wouldn't expect it

Carpe diem was a beautiful, cozy little apartment with lots of extras. It has a great coffee machine to make all kinds of coffees and the owner provided cheeses and chocolate which were delicious. The beds were comfortable and the place was immaculate. We stayed there with 4 of us and one negative was that we ran out of hot water for all of us to shower. A couple things that were not clear in the listing was that in order to get to it you had to climb 4 long flights of stairs. There was no elevator. The listing was also very unclear about parking. A parking spot was NOT included and it cost an additional 30 euros a day for the parking garage. Although the location is only a ten minute walk to the sights, you have to walk through quite a seedy area. We woke up both mornings to a homeless person asleep at the bottom of the stairwell. So while there were many positives, beware the negatives!

schöne Tage in Strasbourg

Super! Bei Ankunft (und Abreise) Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus. Der Gang durchs Treppenhaus erforderte dann etwas Überwindung (ich dachte erst die falsche Adresse zu besuchen). Die Wohnung: super! Hell, groß, voll ausgestattete Küche, ein schönes Bad, zwei Schlafzimmer. (Wer mit Kindern reist: es gibt sogar ´ne Spielecke mit Holzeisenbahn etc. und ´ne Spielekonsole) Lage: Innenstadt (Langstross und Petit France) fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen; großes Parkhaus direkt nebenan, 5min zu Fuß zum Bahnhof, Straßenbahn vor der Tür. Ich würde wieder kommen.
