Lady at check in was not very welcoming. When I reserved the room on the internet, it said I could pay cash at check in. When I checked in, the lady said I could only with card. When a sign clearly said I could pay cash. But the lady behind the counter said no only card. I was also not told there was a 50.00 deposit at check in when I reserved the room Very confusing check in at 10:30 pm.

The check in process was weird. The desk is littered with typed out signs starting rules and fees etc… cluttered with it. Not super professional. The breakfast area is a locked door with a sign listing what they offer. Not welcoming. The staff was fine, not friendly but efficient enough. The room was clean but the wall of electronics (lamp, microwave, fridge, coffee pot and TV) did not have power at all. My husband was able to figure out the issue but that was annoying. Health and beauty amenities were lacking… not expecting much but it was literally just a single packet of shampoo/conditioner. No hand soap.

This property was in the perfect location! We biked around town, and used it as a central spot for family to gather. For the bridge walk, it was the beginning spot. The rooms and property had some wear, but we’re clean. Breakfast was not great. Overall, we were pleased and will definitely stay here again.

Upon our arrival, the first room we were provided by the hotel had a musky smell followed by dirty sheets with black stains, upon checking the rest of the beds there were multiple hair follicles, the fire alarm was hanging over the door, the bathtub paint was peeling and the room was hot. We called the front desk and notified them of the situations, they didn’t hesitate and moved us to a new room. We checked the sheets like we did on the previous room and didn’t see anything, the sheets seemed clean, no stains or follicles like the previous room. Other than the shower knobs being loose, the room looked better. Once we woke up, our entire bodies were itchy therefore we proceeded to thoroughly search the bed and see what was causing the itch. As we searched the bed we noticed several black stains which weren’t there the night prior and a little after we came across a bed bug. We checked both beds and on both beds we found them. We proceeded to the office, to inform management about this, to what they responded that they couldn’t do anything about it and that we weren’t able to get a refund and that how did they not know that it was us that brought them in. They told us that they would check us out if we didn’t want to stay and that we wouldn’t get a refund for the 2nd night. We grabbed our things and walked out the room. The manager said that he didn’t care because they will just rent the room again. Neglecting the knowledge of bed bug and renting again, is not save!

The entrance to our room was situated inside a hallway, that had the hot air from the Air Conditioning blowing into the hallway. Room was very tiny, the bathroom you couldn’t shut the door. No exterior windows.

For what we paid, we had a clean room and very comfy bed. The facility definitely shows signs of age, but it was quite clean. One negative factor: we arrived about an hour before check in time after a four hour journey. We were informed that they have an early check in fee of $30. We refused to pay that, so we sat in our car for an hour. It was 90 degrees outside. Other than this surprise, it was a decent stay.

Room is nice clean you get what you paid for . Need improvements on pool area and deck stairs has a bad smell. Breakfast was not what you expect it to be. Breakfast room is literally a room no more than five people can fit in there.

Do not stay here. Check-in was a nightmare. We made reservations to stay here for 2 nights and chose the “pay at property” option. When we arrived and proceeded to check in, we were informed of a $50 hold in addition to our room rate, which we anticipated prior to our stat. However, they applied an additional $226 dollar hold on top of the $50 hold the room rate which tied up a big chunk of our spending money for the island. To make matters worse, a second $50 hold was applied to our bank account the next morning. We ended up being charged the correct amount in the end, but a lot of our money was on hold until after we returned home. Don’t go by what you see in the pictures. Those were taken when the hotel first opened. The place is very run down now, and the hot tub is all boarded up. Our room had food splattered on the wall, cracked tiles in the bathroom, an open light fixture hanging from the ceiling, a tv not working properly, and a bedside lamp that only worked occasionally. There were also a lot of insects in the room, especially in the evening. The breakfast area was no bigger than a small child’s bedroom, and the selection is limited. Good luck finding a place to sit down. If you don’t get there when it first opens, mostly everything is gone.

Check in was very slow. Attendants at the desk were young and inexperienced. Computers were double charging everyone so alot of confusion on both sides of the desk. I thought I had escaped all that, but found a double incidental hold on my account after I had checked out. Good news is they both dropped off by the end of day. Rooms need to be updated but everything worked and beds were very comfortable.

When I was checking in, it was so loud in the office that I could hardly hear the man at the counter. Then there was no parking spots so we had to walk a decent distance to get to our room.

The breakfast was not good . Not enough space or food to accommodate the people. Couldn't understand them at all.

Decent but outdated.
Facilities require updating. Early check in is charged a $20 fee which I find absurd. No other hotels I have ever stayed at charged an early check in fee. Other than that it’s a place to stay, and it serves that function well. Access to local shops and attractions is great. I wasn’t bothered by anyone and the facilities were quiet when it was time to go to bed.
