Lovely house clean and quiet in Strahan

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Strahan. The house was well equipped, very comfortable, clean, quiet and close to the town centre. Jan provided excellent advice on places to eat and activities to do. We loved our time in this beautiful part of Tasmania.

Great place - everything we needed

We loved it , everything we could need was there for us , down to the little things like tea, coffee , sugar a milk and washing powder so we could wash all of our clothes after being on the move for a week we really appreciated such a small gesture really made a difference, close to everything and very comfortable

Home base for Strahan adventure.

This was very comfortable home. We stayed two nights and did the Gordon River Cruise. It was a beautiful time in Strahan!

We spent 2 nights in Strahan & this property was very clean and conveniently located with a short drive from the Esplanade. It is located in a very quiet street. Bedrooms and living room are comfortable. Good communication with host & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Strahan.

Strahan stopover

Good instructions for checking in. Our accomodation was spacious, well equipped and nice and quiet. We did have some problems with the internet and tv but managed to use the internet further in town and read some very good books that were available on the premises. Overall we had a very good stay. Many thanks to the the owners.

Great base to explore the west coast

We were are party of 5 adults and a toddler. The 3 double bedrooms suited us ideally. The kitchen had all we need and the lounge was comfortable. We adapted to having one bathroom. The house is EV friendly with a power point in the carport and we negotiated a small extra payment to charge our EV overnight. Thanks Jan and Kevin. Easy access to Strahan's beach was a bonus and its an easy and pleasant walk into town and the wharf. The setting is a bit sparse, but we weren't there for the view.

Comfy house near Strahan's Esplanade

We enjoyed our stay at this house which is very comfortable and conveniently located, within a few minutes' drive from the Esplanade. It is located in a very quiet street and the bedrooms and living room are very comfortable. Would definitely consider staying there again.

Please go shopping!

The house is clean and tidy, but is not well fitted out. Beds for 6 people, and 6 fluffy towels, but only 3 seats in the lounge room. Summer weight quilts and no extra blankets. An enormous washing machine, but no dryer, and one clothes airer. We had to use the heaters excessively to stay warm at night and to dry our clothes. In the kitchen there is the very minimum of cutlery and crockery, no dishwasher, which is fine, but also no dish rack and only one tea towel. Some hooks on the back of doors for coats and towels would also be helpful. Seriously, the place is very neat, but extra thought is needed to make it comfortable.
