Great place to stay
This is the second time I have stayed here and I absolutely love it. All the amenities of home and it is a great price. If you want peace and quiet on your travels this is the place to go.
The home was perfect for us, secluded and close from a lot of wonderful hike trails and waterfalls! Also close from nice restaurants and the town of Stowe.
This property was amazing. Dining room window over looked the woods which was gorgeous. It was tucked away in the woods but was close to everything. Will def stay there again.

Cute little house!
The house was quiet and remote and very cute. It has everything we needed and was a bit bigger than i expected!
Overall we had a good time! We used this property as solely a place to sleep and didn’t spend much time there but it was exactly as described. We would stay here again as a bargain location with a comfy bed.

Great stay
Excellent location in Stowe, pretty bare bones place but was ok overall. Could have used some curtains on the windows for privacy. It smelled pretty heavily of weed upon arriving and at night. It was from the property next to us.
First off, we were quite pleased with the accommodations after some concern after reading previous reviews. The unit does came as advertised; a small but very functional and clean apartment with a comfortable bed which was perfect for just my wife and I. While the temperatures did reach 80 degrees after days of rain in Stowe, the unit was very comfortable especially with the supplied floor fans. The shower does have a large step up to get in and out but we had no problems with architectural feature; we actually embraced its uniqueness. The place is close to town; restaurants, bars, groceries, and shopping. We recommend this unit for a no frills stay especially if you are going to out and about enjoying what the area has to offer.

OK for the money
We entered & were greeted by a musty smell that was easily rectified by opening the windows. Overall a the property served our needs for our stay. A few things distracted us. 1 - The shower has a big step up so it was a bit wonky trying to get out. Some traction stickers would be a great safety measure. 2 - the TV needs an Internet connection to work & the router was down. There were no real instructions how to fix it. We eventually contacted the local office & Chris was a huge help but even after connecting to an alternate router the TV was basically out of commission for our stay. Other than those 2 issues it was a good rent. Comfortable bed, OK kitchen, easy access to the mtn road. We would stay there again as long as the TV works.
The location of the apartment was great. However, the quality of apartment itself was lower than what we expected. It smelled moldy and was dirty (especially the carpet that was everywhere, even in the kitchen). The apartment was extremely hot. There was no air conditioning and only one of the two fans provided was working. There were no curtains in any of the windows, so no privacy and no way to keep the apartment cool during the day, and lots of light in the morning. We had issues with the toilet as soon as we arrived (it didn’t flush well), and it was not working at all after 2 days. The plunger provided was completely broken so we had to message the host.
Our stay in the Edson Hill apartment was not up to our standards and we do not recommend it. The host should invest in the apartment to make it more confortable and clean.

Not Quite as Advertised, but A+ Housekeeper!
This place was... an adventure. If you're into *exhibitionism*, you’ll love the lack of blinds—perfect for those who enjoy sharing *more than just the view* with the neighbors. And speaking of thrills, the shower offers a built-in obstacle course with its step-up-and-down design (it’s like the shower is training you for the Olympics). Bonus points if you love playing “guess which outlet works,” but it’s all part of the fun, right?
The Wi-Fi wasn’t working, which means we got to go *old-school* and actually talk to each other. Towels were more like washcloths, so if you’re over 4 feet tall, good luck getting dry! The general vibe was a bit “well-loved,” with stained carpets and chipped paint giving the place that rustic, *run-down charm*. There were also odd musty smells in both the entryway and the apartment that we couldn’t quite place.
And the bathroom? Well, nothing quite says *peaceful morning* like trying to sneak in without waking up the house—only to have the door creak and the fan roar like a jet engine about to take off. The suspense of whether the toilet will flush? That’s just part of the adventure package.
On the plus side, the housekeeper was great—cleaned the place as best she could, and the linens were fresh! But, you know what they say: there's only so much lipstick you can put on a pig. And while the listing boasted a tub, we couldn’t find one inside or out, which added a nice “Where’s Waldo?” element to our stay.
Overall, for the price, we expected more. But hey, if you’re in it for the stories, this place has got you covered!
Nice location outside of town, good privacy & quiet. It has basic accommodations. We enjoyed biking on the Stowe Recreation Path, it's just 3 minutes down the road. I would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues. There's a flight of stairs leading to the unit also the shower access is challenging.
The apartment reeked of weed! It made us sick! I would not was waste your money staying with this place. Guest service answered quickly but didn’t fix the problem. The apartment was gross with mouse droppings in the bathroom and weed smell and residue covered everything.
A beautiful place! The only down side was not having enough cool air. There were fans available to use though!

Great but…
No air conditioning - and it was over 100 outside- had the fans cranking but that was a tough few days! I’d love to stay again but when it’s cooler outside!!!
Pictures and description are spot on. Yes this is a small rental but it was perfect for our short getaway. Extremely clean and tidy, bed was comfy and kitchenette was spotless. View into blooming spring woods was gorgeous and plenty of birds to watch. Only improvements could be a full length mirror and salt and pepper shakers.
