The property was perfect for our trip - all the amenities we needed and everything that we wanted to visit was well within driving distance. Only recommendation if someone was to travel in the summer bring a fan as the property doesn’t have AC. Would absolutely recommend this property for anyone looking for a Vermont getaway!

This is a great one bedroom located right off Mountain Road in Stowe. It was clean, comfortable and as advertised. Though our stay was only one night, it was a great spot and the process to check in and out was simple. Doggo Friendly as well!! Would recommend for a couple and pet.

What a location!

Shuttle literally outside of the apartment! Heating system can be better and couch was nearly dead. Needs new couch (thank god for blow up mattress!)

we really enjoyed it. it was perfect for what we needed. loved having the park in the back for the dogs to run around and play. there is a huge fenced in tennis court that the dogs were able to run free. didn’t hear any noise from the bar.

PERFECT SPACE FOR TWO PEOPLE

This was the perfect amount of space for 2 people. The space was very clean. We were above the Donkey Burger restaurant which did not open till around dinner time. They were playing music which did not bother us. This is a nice place to stay, and it is close to all the Stowe attractions.

Great Location

So we were a little hesitant with the place being right above the Blue Donkey…but when we realized they are only open 4-10 and are closed completely on Wednesdays and Thursdays that pretty much sealed the deal for us. If you know Stowe, this location is impossible to beat. Alchemist is walkable, Apres is walkable, 2 minutes to Idletyme, 5 minutes to Docs, 8 minutes to minutes to the mountain.

Overall a great place to stay! Great location, bed was comfy, having a full kitchen to cook meals in was great! Even went downstairs one night for a drink and the bar was a lot of fun! Only complaint I had was that I wish I was notified that the washer and dryer was out of order. We packed for skiing thinking we would be able to do a load of laundry between ski days, and with no washer or dryer that worked we ended up having to wear the same dirty ski gear again.

Great little place

Centrally located to a lot of restaurants and things to do but the only complaints we had are that the music downstairs in the bar can be a little too loud and bassy at night until the bar closes around 10pm, and we could not figure out how to work the tv. It appeared as though the remote didn’t work, and it was only set to one station and you couldn’t change the channel.other than that we had a great time

Great location for skiing

The apartment was clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could want in a vrbo stay. I loved that it was dog friendly and so close to Stowe - so easy to get there by car or by the bus that stops almost right in front of the lot you park in. My one negative comment is not the VRBO’s fault but I feel it’s necessary to note and remind people searching that the location above the bar does matter. Most nights the music ended early but Saturday night the bartender FORGOT to turn the music off and it played literally all night and into the morning. I’m a New Yorker noise doesn’t really bother me but it did make the floor vibrate in addition to the noise of it. Need to know if you’re a sensitive sleeper. Otherwise would stay again.

Okay - several key issues

The location of this property is good, but on arrival we discovered that the bed sheets were covered in hair from uncleaned throw pillows. Additionally it was warm in the apartment. A fan was not provided and only one window had a screen, so opening windows without letting bugs in was difficult. Finally, you are hit by a somewhat strong, but tolerable, odor of dog urine upon entering, since part of the apartment is carpeted. Outside of these issues, the cleanliness throughout the apartment was good and we enjoyed our stay. However, I would not stay here again.

Perfect for 2

This is a great place for 2 people. Our teenage son (our 3rd person) had an inadequate bed for the first two nights. The pull-out couch was broken and could not be slept on (barely sat on) but we found an air mattress. Turned out it had a hole so he slept on the floor. Same with another air mattress they brought in the next day. Had to sleep on the floor. Finally the 3rd night they brought in an air mattress that stayed inflated. Vacasa has not yet responded to my many requests for partial reimbursement for the lack of a bed for our 3rd person for 2 nights. Additionally Vacasa would not respond to us about how to dispose of our garbage, recycling and compost which was piling up over our 9 day stay. Hours spent trying to get a response! King size bed is very comfortable. The AC is loud in the bedroom but without out it on its way too hot. Good location near bike path. Bar below is a good spot for a beer and shuts down by 10. Not too loud even when open.
