"Upon arrival we found a clean, peaceful property with a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room and bedroom. The entrance foyer and sitting/dining area was warm and inviting. Outside we discovered a comfortable campfire area with a walking space including a small pond. Each evening we were serenaded by frogs and insects into a soothing sleep. We were awakened gently by cool air and sunshine. Penn Yan has a general store which we visited on the way down, providing all of our grocery needs. Although there are great restaurants and sights in the area, we were looking for a quiet get away, so we stayed put. And loved it."

"Beautiful bed-and-breakfast with the most comfortable beds and the most adorable big rooms. We loved the fireplace. The parlor was so nice at night to relax and with a nice hot cup of cocoa. The British Tavern in town was delightful for dinner. Breakfast was delicious and Glenda was so attentive. Really quite a beautiful updated historic bed-and-breakfast."
