Staff was not friendly when arriving. Family room was really small. Breakfast was ok, although not well planned, tables were full (even with booking system), not enough fresh bread, out of juice a lot of the time, out of cutlery etc.

A nice quaint place to stay! Staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was pretty good! Rooms are a little small, but I’m also from the United States. Very clean and I was happy with my stay!

Recommended hotel
The hotel is as good as one would expect from the Scandic group. They are pretty much alike without any surprises either way. Top floor where we stayed is a recent extension and therefore modern and pleasant. Breakfast was good too.

Nothing to shout about. Very very basic. Very expensive.Being a Scandic Friends Member provides no benefits, so don't bother signing up.

lots of building work going on outside of the hotel - I had to wait for a ballast truck to be loaded before I could move my car in the morning. Unfinished plaster work in common area (second floor corridor). Breakfast excellent, room clean etc. why no tea making facilities in the room?

Visiting a relative in Taby, this was the nearest/ the most convenient hotel for me to stay in. Generally, it's a nice and friendly hotel. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have improved my experience and my rating of the hotel.

Excellent comuter acces to Stockholm City with buses jusr 30 m from hotel and tube into Stockholm city All business facilities are there and a cozy athmosphere Food is on Top level Friendly and servicing staff but reception could be better. The face of the hotel when you arrive and leave Good pricing for Stockholm with roughly 30-40 minutes access to the City

Good hotel for the price
I stayed here after my connecting flight out of Stockholm was cancelled. It's about a half hour's drive by taxi. I didn't have time to explore the area around the hotel much, but it's more of a stop along a road, without much to do. The hotel itself was well maintained and the staff were very nice. It was fine for an overnight stay and I have no complaints.

Overall pleasant experience
I took a trip to Stockholm with friends but unfortunately all the hotels in Stockholm were booked up with the U2 concert. I found the Scandic hotel in Taby and it was a pleasant surprise. It's walking distance from the train and bus to Stockholm, the Taby Centrum mall is close and a 24/7 Max Burger is right across the street. The room was a little on the small side for 4 people but the beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Breakfast had a variety of items to choose from, including gluten and lactose free options which were great for me! Overall a good experience.

Modern & clean, good breakfast, boring location
Smooth check-in and check-out, everything worked fine and was nice and clean in the room. It was a bit of a surprise not to have coffee making facilities in the room. There wasn't a whole heap to do at the hotel or nearby - you really need to catch the bus or drive to do anything interesting. We were always able to find a parking space in their parking lot. Wifi worked well. It seemed very family friendly, although we weren't actually travelling with kids, but it did appear that kids would be very well catered for.
