Nice hotel
It's a great, modern hotel if you need to stay in the Haninge area. Comfortable, clean and good breakfast. The reception and bar area is nice. Our only issue was around comfort in the room. The fan was really loud and couldn't be turned off using the control panel in the room (centrally run I guess as it was hot this time of year) but it did unfortunately disturb our sleep. There was also no cleaning of the room during our stay, however we could have specifically requested it beforehand.

Good value for money! The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also great. A huge playground just across the hotel was a pleasant surprise to my two boys. The only thing unfortunate was that the hotel restaurant was closed due to COVID but we managed to buy take-away from Coop nearby.

Extremly rude staff, with no privacy feeling. Talking loud out in the front desk private things, ironize and very strange attitude. Have called the manager, our company have withdrawn all their bookings on this hotel after this very rude and bad behavior.

Well worth stay
Nice and clean. Very good bed, shiwer ok. Breakfast modest, better bread and some more fruit would have been welcome. Very little warm food. Service exceptionally good. Clean room and good bed. Shower door instead of draper would be a good idea. But all in all, positive a d priceworthy.

Weekend getaway.
The hotel seems newly renovated and the rooms where in very good condition. Comfortable beds. There were some problems with hotel doors to get into the hotel during the night and no way to contact the staff. (no one answered doorbell or when we called the contact number). Nice breakfast buffet and cosy restaurant area.

This was a really nice place to stay. A little farther away from the city than I would have liked but a wonderful on site restaurant and the morning breakfast was a fantastic and easy way to start our busy days in Stockholm. The staff was great as well!

Always check this hotel when I visit
This was my third visit since the hotel's refurbishment and I repeat my positive reviews. It has a good breakfast buffet and almost every facility you would expect, although it does lack a fridge in the room. It is well located for visiting islands and nature reserves to the south of Stockholm, such as the Tyresta national park. It's a 25 minute train ride to the city centre, stopping conveniently at Södra, Stockholm City and Odenplan. Handen itself is mainly suburban and undergoing quite a bit of reconstruction. The nearby lake Rudan mentioned in other reviews is an attractive area.

Excellent Hotel in Handen / Hanninge
The place to stay if you have business in Handen/Hanninge or close by, and don't want the inconvenience of commuting from central Stockholm, which will easily take an hour. Breakfast is delicious by the way. They had a makeover a few years ago, before that it was a bit worn down, but now it's really clean and modern. There's of course Handen commuter train station very near by, but actually also a lake a few hundred meters from the hotel, in which you can swim in the summer (and people do!). Of course Handen is not exactly an exciting city in itself, when you go here, you likely have another reason - business/relatives/the nearby park - but with that said, it is situated a 3 minute walk from the very center of Handen.

Loved our stay!
Great hotel located conveniently to our purpose for going. Although they requested we always request room cleaning they still did it twice out of 4 days without our request. Our only concern was not getting a bath mat for keeping shower water out of the general bathroom area but we were able to use a hand towel. Free breakfasts were wonderful. Dinners were limited on variety but tasted great.

I would stay again
Previously I had stayed in a "moderate single" room which was cramped. This time I booked (and would recommend) a standard single which was much better but a bit more expensive. For breakfast there was an excellent range of dishes. The room had no instructions for the aircon control panel but it set the right temperature without any need for tinkering. A very comfortable and quiet room. The location is convenient for attractions to the south of Stockholm. The city centre can be reached in about 25 minutes on the train which leaves every 15 mins.

Recently refurbished and new
Refurbished since my last visit so everything was new, clean and working properly. The reception staff were always helpful, there was a wide choice for breakfast and the hotel provided a PC for anyone without Wi-Fi. The summer prices seem a bit lower than pre-renovation and perhaps reflect its out of town location. Yet it is convenient for the fast suburban train to Stockholm and for reaching the southern archipelago. Handen itself is rather humdrum and has been undergoing redevelopment for some years. But many rooms look over an attractive lake and recreation area. So essentially I was happy with my choice despite the following quibbles. There are a handful of rooms described as basic single, of which I had booked one. This was a smaller room, which would have been fine had the hotel acknowledged that it needed a single bed. However, they had crammed in a double, leaving little circulation space. The television had no foreign news channels. The room lacked the usual folder of information about the facilities available in a hotel. Although as mentioned the breakfast was fine and wide ranging, I thought that the bread was not as good as is usually found in Swedish hotels and on some days it was below room temperature.

Very good hotel at reasonable price. Save a lot of money compared to city hotel and use commuter train. Room small but very new and great for one person. Amazing range of food for breakfast. I stayed out here to be close to family but would be good as a base for city visits too.

Bra hotell och bra läge söder om Stockholm
En julresa, bra hotell med tillgängliga kommunala transportmedel. Bra parkering precis utanför hotellet. Rent och trevligt hotell, vi är nöjda. Har bott här flera gånger.

Denna hotellvistelse var över förväntan. Vi bodde två nätter på detta hotell i Handen. Ligger precis vid pendeltåget, och det var därför smidigt att ta sig in till stan om man önskade. God frukost med många alternativ, utomordentlig service samt bra bemötande och hjälp från personalen när vi behövde hjälp att planera resan till flygplatsen.
