A Georgian Masterpiece Steps from Stirling
Treat yourself to a historic stay at our 19th century Georgian home, just a 5 minute walk from the Stirling town centre, which has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Stroll the enclosed garden with your dog(s) at your side, then cosy up with a Robert Burns book and a whisky beside one of our crackling fireplaces. “It's like walking into a Jane Austen Novel,” says a past guest, and we are in full agreement, with one exception: our modern amenities. In other words; it’s a Jane Austen novel with Netflix and an espresso maker.

Rather than leave this magnificent home empty while I'm on tour for my work in the music industry, I decided to share it with others. I take great care to ensure guests feel at home here but not like they're staying in someone else's house. I provide quality amenities (including whisky!) and a "relaxed luxury" design. With space for up to 10 people and an acre of landscaped grounds for playing outdoors, it's an effortless place to host everything from team building retreats and friend getaways to birthday parties and family reunions.

—The Neighbourhood Stirling is a very safe, friendly, and historic town. From our home, you can walk just a few minutes to the Stirling castle, then stop in at many watering holes on the way back. You will also find plenty of delicious local restaurants, including a good few favourites we will share with you upon arrival. Our location also makes it easy to pick up groceries, food and other necessities at the shopping centre.
Stirling is excellently situated for traveling around Scotland, whether by train or car, as well, with the train station just a 10-minute walk away.

This house has everything, from a soccer pitch to a dance party room. Drawing rooms were sophisticated and comfortable. All bedrooms were enviable. Very large family eat in kitchen.

Stunning Georgian house with modern interior and very efficient heating system
A weekend was too short - this house is beautiful with state of the art facilities. The heating was on when we arrived and we were so comfortable all weekend. The food hamper provided by the hostess was extremely generous too. We thoroughly recommend this property.
The home was better than presented in the pictures. The property was HUGE with a backyard the size of a city park...the kids had a blast running around, and the home was still walking distance to the rail station and city center. Stirling was an ideal location for our day-trips to other parts of the Country, and Alex was so gracious with a assortment of welcome items in the kitchen and the home was fully stocked and so comfortable that we didn't want to leave.
We've rented many homes and this was by far our best experience.
Would strongly suggest this home and host.
If you ever wanted to feel like stepping back in time...
Wow! It's unbelievable you can actually stay in this palace and when you walk through the doors - you feel like you have walked right into a Jane Austen novel. Absolutely beautiful and commodious with owners who are incredibly kind and helpful - providing food, wine, and toiletries for anything you could imagine you need. We've never experienced such warm hospitality in such an immense and breathtaking space.
One of the best houses we have stayed in on our many trips. Our family of six adults were very comfortable with lots of indoor and outdoor space. We were comfortably able to host several reunions with other family members in Scotland. This house is a few minutes walk from central Stirling and is well equipped and very comfortable. This house is truly a delight and made our trip all the more enjoyable. You really feel that you are staying somewhere special. If you have the chance to book it, do so!

Totally blown away with this property, it is absolutely stunning. Our family of 9 organised this as a surprise present for our Father’s 80th birthday. The house is spotlessly clean and the welcome hamper and Christmas tree were especially nice touches. It’s in a fabulous location and just a few minutes from the centre of town. We had the most amazing memorable time and would absolutely recommend this to anybody.
Stayed for a few days celebrating patents Golden wedding anniversary, beautiful property with loads of space to chill and relax. Very close to town centre, parks, castle. Have already recommended to friends
This is indeed a Georgian masterpiece. The house is spacious, very well equipped and beautifully furnished. We cooked, danced and then relaxed in the drawing rooms. It is a very short walk into Stirling and there are lots of nice places for a morning coffee or a spot of shopping. Of course a visit to the castle and the monument is a must.
Beautiful spacious property. Lovely princess bedroom which my 5 year old granddaughter fell in love with at first sight. Very thoughtful host with lots of extras left for us.
What an amazing property. This house was perfect for our family celebration (80th birthday). Plenty space for us all to spread out and a beautiful garden for our dog to run around in too. Being close to the centre of Stirling meant the car didn’t move the whole weekend we were there. A lovely welcome hamper / breakfast pack was a lovely touch and meant we were all set for the following morning. Will definitely be recommending this house to friends and family.
The property was great, giving so much room for our family of five! We spent as much time as we could in the spacious garden and my son loved playing with the massive football goals. The property was centrally located, only a 3 minute walk into the centre of Stirling, with loads of shops and great restaurants nearby for ease. Stirling was a fab location to be able to explore both southern Scotland as well as the Highlands on day trips.
We had the most wonderful stay with our family in this stunning house, with enough room for all of us, including our dog. We enjoyed dancing in the games room, playing in the beautiful walled garden, listening to records in the drawing room and watching Braveheart (of course!) in the TV room.
The beds were so comfortable and we were blown over by the hosts' hospitality, with a hamper of food and drinks left for us on our arrival. The location was so perfect with great (dog friendly) gastro pubs within walking distance and perfectly situated to visit other places like Glasgow and Edinburgh and Lough Lomond.
We love Scotland and its people and we hope to return soon! Thanks for everything.
We had a lovely time in this beautiful house which is perfectly situated only a couple of minutes from all the amenities of the city. The large, secure and private back garden provided us with a cool place to begin and finish each day. The house provided everything we could have wanted in a home from home - comfy beds, well appointed bathrooms and crockery etc. We would highly recommend this place - our grandchildren particularly enjoyed the music room for obligatory disco entertainment!
