Cute little Gasthof with delicious breakfast!

We stayed at this Gasthof because we were visiting Linz and waited too long to book. I'm happy we discovered this location - the countryside is beautiful and the overnighting was convenient and comfortable. The breakfast was definitely the best part :) The room was clean and comfortable, no complaints about the service. We did notice a bit of commuter traffic on the weekday morning, but it was not bad. If you can ask for a room near the back, you might not notice at all. Again, no complaints. There is a nice courtyard to sit and enjoy the sunshine and a drink. We didn't use the restaurant/bar in the evening, but it may have been closed due to Covid-19. We were out enjoying the evenings in Linz and local areas after a bike ride along the Donau. We were on the 3rd floor, it didn't bother us to climb the stairs. This would be a great jump off point to visit the mountains in the south. I would return to the Gasthof if I were in the area.

Abenteuerlich ist schon, wie man an einem der (zwei!) Ruhetage des GH überhaupt hinein kommt! Selbst wenn man durch eine Umrundung (!!!) des Gebäudes endlich dieses "Gerät" in einem Versteck findet - funktioniert das Aufsperren längst nicht. (Wir versuchten es zu Dritt vergebens) . Gleiches beim Verlassen des Hauses in Richtung des "oberen" Parkplatzes. Unglaublich :-((( Das Frühstück ist von sagenhafter Lieblosigkeit und entspricht in der Präsentation dem Standard von Jugendhäusern der 1970er Jahre.

Im Zi. Nr. 2 schimmeln die beiden Fensterspaletten. im Bad fällt Abdeckung ständig runter, war alles für uns aber kein Problem, da wir nur eine Nacht in der Unterkunft blieben. Frühstück war i.O.

Clean and close to centre of town

Gasthof was basic but clean and tidy. Bett squeaked very loud and very uncomfortable. Area lovely and quiet. Would stay again. Very reasonable, and friendly staff.

Das Badezimmer hatte eine TelefonDusche ohne Halterung in der Badewanne, keinen Vorhang, sodass das Badezimmer beim Duschen in einen See verwandelt wurde. Sehr primitiv. Ansonsten war es ok, Betten ok, sauber, Zimmer ok, sauber, bequeme Matratzen.

Haben im 1.Stock, gleich über dem Gasthaus unser Zimmer gehabt - es war ziemlich lange sehr laut im Zimmer. Badezimmer mit Schiebetür, die nicht ganz zum Zumachen war, Wasser in der Dusche war sehr lange kalt - Frühstück ausreichend, aber außer Semmeln und Brot kein Gebäck. Die Lage ist ganz gut, wenn man gut zu Fuß ist - ca. 15 Min. zum Hauptplatz über viele Stufen

War nur für eine Nacht dort und es hat alles super gepasst. Die Leute waren freundlich, das Zimmer sauber und sehr groß (es gab sogar eine Badewanne) und es gibt sowohl gratis WLAN als auch Parkplätze. Die Innenstadt ist leicht zu Fuß erreichbar.
