"We had the most wonderful family weekend here with a group of 12, ranging from toddlers and teenagers to adults and grandparents, there really was something for everyone.The house and grounds were beautiful, spotlessly clean and very well kept. All of the bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The teenagers loved the attic/games room, while the little ones had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying the gardens.We took the host’s recommendation for an Indian takeaway on our first night, which was delicious, and the dining room comfortably accommodated all 12 of us, including a high chair for the baby. For the rest of the weekend, we found everything we needed to prepare big family breakfasts and dinners. Having an extra fridge and chest freezer in the utility room was a bonus. We used one fridge for food and one for drinks, which made things so much easier for a large group.The sitting rooms were lovely and cosy with the log burners going, we spent plenty of time playing family games and watching films together. The hot tub was the perfect finishing touch for the adults and teenagers.Whilst the wee ones got to enjoy Active Kids Adventure Park, just two minutes from the house, it was a brilliant day out and convenient to have right on the doorstep.Overall, we had such a wholesome family weekend and couldn’t have asked for more. The property was perfect for bringing three generations together. Highly recommend"

"Fabulous accommodation, was travelling with family to attend wedding close by. Comfortable and clean, with everything you need for a stay. Lovely outdoor seating areas so you can enjoy the lovely garden and surrounding fields. Check in easy, with great instructions in how to find the property. Lovely location with easy access from the A9. Would definitely recommend."

"This is an absolute gem of a cottage and a perfect location for travelling around Perthshire and beyond . Such a pretty sympathetically renovated 300 year old farm workers cottage all on the ground floor. The furnishings and fittings are high end and the lovely steel cupboarded kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need . There is a handy little utility room at the end of the cottage with a washing machine and bike store . Lovely wooden floors in the main living area and fabulous bathroom with high ceilinged velux window and walk in shower We stayed here for 2 weeks and had the most wonderful time touring and cycling (handy cycle routes provided by owner ) in glorious weather and wonderful views over the fields . Would love to come back one day!"

"First time staying in the cottage (we usually stay in the shepherds hut which is run by the same owner) and and it was better than expected, a great base for visiting Pitlochry, Perth, House of Bruar, and plenty of walking for dogs and an enclosed garden so dogs can wander about or use the field next to the cottage.. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a dishwasher, all bedrooms have tvâ€™s and the beds are very comfortable and its really quiet at night so youâ€™ll get a good sleep, the welcome pack was really good (even though we didnâ€™t use it as we had brought a lot of our own stuff), the owner greets you on arrival and lets you know where everything is and is always available if thereâ€™s a problem. I would highly recommend the cottage for family get away."

I personally found the settee a bit hard and would have liked a few more things in the kitchen (measuring jug and basin to name a couple).As others have mentioned the outside space is paved so something to bear in mind if you have a dogNone of these things were enough to spoil our stay in anyway and the owner was very welcoming."
