"Barge Inn was outstanding. It was immaculately clean and very well equiped. The view is stunning(including eagles and osprey winging past at eye level!!!) and we just wanted to stay put and watch from that glorious cathedral style screened in porch! Our hosts were very responsive to our questions and were generous with their time in telling us all about the history of the area and great suggestions about area attractions that fit our interests. We can't say enough about our appreciation of our stay there!"

"Beds were dirty, had roaches crawling on the ceiling. cancelled our second night, STILL haven't gotten the refund. This place is full of junkies and rejects."

"Everything is very generic. Nohing really wrong, but the bedding and is old, there are not Kleenex tissues in the room.....so you must blow your nose, take off your makeup, etc with toilet tissue. one little bar of soap in the room, 2 wash cloths, two bath towels, 2 paper cups.....like I said, not terrible, but very minimal."

"What a wonderful time we had hanging out at this property for an extended weekend. Peaceful and secluded, this home backs up to the shoreline and has incredible views from the back deck. Inside is warm and cozy with plenty of room and a nice, big fireplace. Kitchen is well stocked and the bathrooms have everything you need. The homeowners, who live close by, were engaging and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We caught fish off of the boat ramp, encountered deer, turkeys, lizards, squirrels and a plethora of birds and watched several barges floating down the river. Round it all out with a fire pit and a peddle boat and we had one relaxing weekend. Husband Greg is already talking about going back and we just got home!"

"We enjoyed our stay overall—the view was wonderful, the kitchen was great to use, and we really appreciated that the property is dog-friendly.That said, for the price, we didn’t expect the level of wear and tear we noticed throughout the home, along with some cleanliness issues upon arrival. With a bit more attention to upkeep and cleaning, this property could truly match its potential.Overall, we had a good stay."
