Amazing New 5 Bed Home next to the Columbia River. Sleeps 10 adults & 6 Kids

Stunning 5,200 sq foot 5 bedroom 3.5 bath architectural marvel. Newly built. Sleeps 10 adults in beds and 6 kids in fold-outs. Nestled 40 yards from the Columbia River. Lots of room including a 1100 sq foot great room with 15 ft ceiling, entertainment / game room, one car garage - with plenty of extra parking. Unique inner court with open sky views. Large deck with surrounding trees. Two car garage. Big gas fireplace. Internet. Washer and Dryer. Away from the city. Heated polished cement floor and AC. There are also chairs that pull out beds in each room and two pull-out couches in the game room.
This is not intended to be a "party" house but has lots of room for responsible get-togethers.

45 minutes from the Portland Airport (PDX)

Please note:
-The home sits next to the Columbia River which means we're also next to a railroad track. However the railroad sits lower than the house and though it passes a number of times a day, I hardly notice it.
-There is poison oak on the property. It is sprayed multiple times a year. Stay on the defined spots and trails and you shouldn't have any problems.
-While we have a deep two car garage, one of the spaces has our family kayak moving van in it.
- The property extends to the Columbia River. There is a cleared out area to hang out/beach type area. To get there you have to walk across a railroad track so please do so cautiously.

Another Great Stay in the Gorge

Third stay... definitely not the last

This is the third year in a row that I've rented this amazing house. I bring a different group of friends every time and everyone is always so impressed. The house is always immaculate. I will definitely continue to rent this house every year as long as it's available. LOVE IT.

Wonderful Stay for Families

Stayed here with 5 families total and it was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone from ages 1 to 40! The game room was a hit and the adults really enjoyed the outdoor fire table in the atrium! Beautiful view as well!

We had a great stay! The view was beautiful and so peaceful. The house was perfect for our group. Very spacious, clean and nice. We loved the great room to hang out in and all of the kids loved the game room. Would definitely come again!

Gorgeous home!!

This home is even prettier in person! It also has all the bells and whistles! Warm floors, very clean, so much gathering space, fully stocked, beautiful colors. It was an amazing place for our four families with a variety of kid ages! (The train goes by several times each day, but it really is charming!!!) Take the fam to the cute little town of Stevenson! It’s adorable!

River Front Bliss

The house was amazing. Spacious, well laid out, clean, private, but the best thing is by far the view. The river view is gorgeous and all windows in the house are massive so you can take it in rain or shine. It was really safe for little ones running around because the only set of stairs could be closed off my 2 separate doors to the rest of the house which was great!

Beautiful home

Beautiful home with great ammenities and well equipped. Nice special touches, welcome basket, special shampoo and conditioners, soaps. Lots of room to spread out, tvs in all the rooms, lots of windows to view the outdoors. Would definitely come back. Owners were very responsive to questions.

Friends woods and waterfalls trip

Loved this property! Great location, very private and excellent views of the woods and river. Even though there were only 3 adults we enjoyed the open and spacious greatroom and kitchen areas. Bedrooms were comfortable and loved the private bath options. Really enjoyed the outdoor living areas particularly the large decks. Just adults this trip but we did enjoy the game room. We did hear the periodic trains but hardly noticed when in the home. We all hope to return to this property next time we are in this area.

Can't wait to come back

By far the nicest place I've ever stayed. It felt like home. In fact, I wanted it to be my home. Never have I ever stayed at a rental that was so well thought out, from the design to what was offered. Everything about it was perfect and the entire house was spotless. Cannot say enough good things about this house. My only recommendation/request would be a hot tub on the deck!

The Great Catch indeed

This house was absolutely amazing, the photos in the listing do not do it justice. We stayed for a weekend with 3 total families with kids. Everyone loved the house and had a blast. The location is beautiful and secluded, but still fairly close to the local town. Everythingg was clean and there was plenty of everything, i.e. dishes, cups, towels etc. The owners really did a great job in making sure the place was comfortable for guests. Aaron was also super responsive to any questions that I had. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Amazing House

We used this incredible property as our family’s home base for our week in the gorge. The pictures do not even begin to do this property justice. It was like staying in an Architectural Digest magazine spread with an amazing view of the Columbia River. Very clean, bedrooms and bathrooms very roomy, and plenty of room for our 7 adults, 2 kids, and 2 toddlers. Centrally located to where ever you want to go in the gorge. Stevenson is a cute little town with a couple shops, restaurants, and groceries. We are Vrbo regulars and my family all said this was their most favorite house yet. I had a couple questions when we arrived and the owner was very responsive. Wish we could have stayed longer, this will be on our repeat list for another visit for sure.

Great place in a beautiful location

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house overlooking the Columbia River. It was spotlessly clean with a few minor repairs needed. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything needed for a large group. The beds are very comfortable. It was a convenient location for doing a variety of activities but cozy enough that there is no need to leave the house.

Comfortable

We were 4 generations of family and the house was spacious and comfortable. The kids enjoyed counting the train cars coming past the house. I would suggest bringing nonslip slippers to walk on the concrete floors. The main room had a large and comfortable coach we could all fit on. The loft above garage was perfect for the kids to play games.

Very nice place for all our family. Only complaint was how muddy the driveway and parking g area was. Need to get some gravel in, was a mess! Other than that, nice place, plenty of room!

Long Family Weekend

The house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well equipped. The open floor plan allowed us all to be together and enjoy different activities. It was an easy walk to the river where the littles enjoyed throwing rocks and collecting treasures. We would book again!

Christmas on the Columbia

Loved the roomy open spaces as well as the view of the river. As a family of designers we all appreciated the modern space and the room for all 10 of us. Look forward to next year!
