  • Take a vacation you will always remember at this charming lake side cottage. Located on the crystal clear Stratton Lake. This cabin is only steps from the water which boasts a sandy bottom! Stratton Lake is a full recreation lake surrounded by tall pines. Get that "Up North" feeling while only being 5 minutes from attractions such as mini golf, restaurants, night life, grocery stores, Waupaca Chain of Lakes, movie theater and much much more. Enjoy your days in the sun boating, skiing, fishing, tubing, paddle boarding and swimming from your dock. End your day with the most beautiful sunsets from across the lake. Camp fires, star gazing and s'mores will highlight your night. This rare sandy bottom and gradual drop off is great for young children to play or for adults who enjoy sitting in the water with a cold beverage. The main cabin is 800 SQ feet that includes a large bathroom, main bedroom, living room, pull out queen couch, kitchen, and a porch that features an indoor grill. Outside has a covered dining table and gas grill. Only steps away is the “Bunk House" including two queen size bunk beds that can sleep up to an additional eight people. The Bunkhouse has an intercom system for easy communication to the main cabin. It also has surround sound for a great movie watching experience. Both the bunkhouse and main cabin are air conditioned. Wi-Fi available!
    Pontoon boat available to rent for $600 per week subject to availability. Message me for details!

Really enjoyed the clear, comfortable lake for swimming and paddleboarding. Many nearby restaurants.

We had a great time. Cabin was well stocked and very charming. Air conditioned, wireless access and a beautiful spot on a beautiful lake.

Another Great Stay

We went back for our second summer and loved it just as much - beautiful water, lots of amenities, comfy beds, and a convenient location. We highly recommended kayaking the upper chain and then coming back to swim and grill by the lake. Perfect.

On the Water

Beautiful clear lake and courteous host made for a relaxing 4 days. Cabin has classic charm and just the right updates. It is well equipped to take the pressure off so you can relax.

Cabin on the Lake Getaway

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for and view was perfect. We enjoyed sitting by the water and watching our dog Rosie swim. Perfect getaway and we would return for sure. Our host was quick to respond to my questions. Quaint, quiet and gorgeous view!!!

Clean cabin

It was a perfect size for our family. Very clean for a quaint older cabin. If you are looking for that cabin up north feel, this is perfect. The pier was nice and the pontoon was a great option so we did not have to bring our boat. I would recommend.

Great lil lake cabin

Over all the stay was nice and relaxing. No issues. It could have been Cleaner, the fridge had build up in the bottom left corner and draw. The host was friendly and was available when needed. Nice location close to stores. The tv in the garage was big which was nice for watching the game.

Cozy escape

Enjoyed some time paddling on the lake, but the weather didn’t cooperate. Instead we played card games and hiked trails in Hartman’s Creek State Park. The location is perfect for enjoying the fun of the Waupaca Chain o’ Lakes. The only drawback for our 60+ age group was no bathroom in bunk house.

We had a wonderful stay in Waupaca! The cabin was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the quiet, calm lake. It was perfect for fishing and made kayaking so easy and relaxing. We’d definitely come back!

Great Stay

Nice cabin on a clear, sandy lake. We had a great stay. We enjoyed the pontoon boat and fire pit. The view from the living room is spectacular (even in the rain!).

We really enjoyed our long weekend. The location at the lake is amazing. The cabin is clean and cozy. The bunkhouse is very comfortable. We started our day with morning coffee on the dock watching the fish and bald eagle. Thank you for offering all the Watersport equipment (SUP, paddle boat, kayak). It was really fun.

This is a quaint cottage on a quiet lake. Sunsets are Amazing ! Kids stayed in the bunk house and really enjoyed having their own space . We would definitely recommend!

Tough to beat this property

We loved our stay! The separate bunkhouse was so nice for our kids (we have 5), the water was absolutely beautiful, the neighborhood was very quiet, and the cabin was super clean. We especially loved the gentle slope to the lake and the fact that we could see the kids swimming and everyone fishing right from the cabin. I've searched a lot of properties, and this one checks all the boxes!

Relaxing stay

This was our second stay at this cabin and we enjoyed it just as much, if not more, than the first. We had perfectly hot weather for lazy days floating in the lake. I really like that this lake has non-waterski hours. It’s fun to watch all the people take to the water, swim out to the shallow area or hop on their paddle boards. Would definitely stay again!

Family Time in Waupaca

It was perfect for my husband and I and our Labs. Even the weather cooperated. Visited family during the day and relaxed at the lake with the dogs in the late afternoon and early evening. The lake is one of the cleanest I have been at in a long time. The cabin was comfortable and we slept great on the bed. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Amazing lake & cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The lake was surprisingly calm so it was great to use the paddle boards to go around the lake to see the turtles & other wildlife. Our kids really loved the bunk house and our dog enjoyed hanging out on the dock watching “her” fish swim by in the mornings. Highly recommended.
