"We had the most wonderful stays at this cabin twice now and can’t wait to come back! The cabin was spotless and so thoughtfully prepared, including a bottle of wine. The cabin was very clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows to make us feel right at home.The fall decorations gave it such a cozy touch, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub after a day of fishing. The cows next door added such a peaceful country charm, and the view of the stars at night was absolutely breathtaking—especially once Dollar General turned off their lights.The location was also perfect. Having Dollar General so close made it easy to grab last-minute items, and we picked up bait and firewood at Pappy’s Gas Station. We also loved exploring nearby wineries—Patoka Lake Winery and French Lick Winery were both great stops. For food, Benny’s Off the Water Restaurant and the Power Plant Bar & Grill at the French Lick Resort were fantastic.This cabin truly gave us the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience. Between the hot tub, fishing, starry skies, and thoughtful touches inside, it was everything we could have hoped for in a getaway. Highly recommend!"

"Initial impression upon entering the property is very positive, pleasing to the eye. The view of the Ohio is very satisfying. A generous kitchen and great room make the stay so enjoyable. A very large screen TV that can be easily viewed from anywhere in the kitchen or great room. The internet connection allows for your streaming pleasure. That was easy. Bedrooms were adequate and comfortable. The Bathroom is a generous size with a shower and lavatory. Bathroom is well stocked to provide you with most all of the basic essentials. A washer and clothes dryer is offered, I however did not use them. The big deck allows for the comfortable viewing of the river. I hope a solution for all the stink bugs can be applied here.A fully stocked kitchen makes for a good place to gather for a home cooked meal with the family. All the rest of the accomodations were very good. All this, and it is affordable. I hade an enjoyble time here. Thank you. "

"Late evening, I’d forgot soap. The front desk girl did not hesitate, to bring me some. No “come to me,” she came and brought it. That was a first. Bed very comfy. Good shower she answered all my questions, over the phone. "

"We had 15 ladies and plenty of room. The beds were great. The only issue was the spiders and spider webs out on the deck, but the wonderful view of the River made up for that. We will definitely consider staying here again."

"This property and the property owner are EXCELLENT - which is probably an understatement. The owner is very prompt, thorough, professional and pleasant when you work with her. And the property is EXACTLY what you see in the pics and in the description. Its like stepping back in time in some ways, while still enjoying modern amenities. Like the description says - if you are looking to truly disconnect from your phone/technology for a time, this is 100% the place to come. Just minutes from beautiful Patoka Lake and all it has to offer, in addition to other area attractions such as French Like, Hoosier National Forrest and more. I will absolutely be coming back more times in the future and asking a couple of my family members to join me as well. In summary - I wish I owned a place just like this!"

"There was a slight hiccup with the check but the host was just around the corner and came to help. The air wasnt on when we got there so it was quite hot until it was able to cool the place down. Sitting by the river, just listening to the water was amazing! Well worth it. "
