"Our room was very clean with a lovely view towards the sea. We really enjoyed the Moonshine Bar where the food and drink was spot on and we enjoyed watching the sea and walking on the shore. There are hammocks and a few loungers available also. The main building is comfortable and nicely set out. it was super quiet when we were there which was lovely, the only downside being the bar and food service stopped at 6.30m which is very early. "
"Absolutely beautiful beach and resort! Great place to do nothing and unwind. The dinner and bar staff was wonderful. Met some fun people. Receptionists could have paid better attention to front desk. Our room was never cleaned."
BEACHFRONT! Best Location on Private Lazy River Sand Bar. Always Calm Water!
10/10 Excellent
"OMG, this home and property were amazing! We loved the remote location and privacy. There were 11 of us traveling together, we loved the privacy of the cabanas and the great gathering spaces both inside and outside of the main home. The beach access was everything we could have hoped for. The island itself was beautiful and the colors of the ocean were indescribable! Everyone we met was kind and welcoming and made you feel right at home. Judy, the Property Manager, is such a great asset…she gave us great information and can literally make anything you need happen. We love Exuma and never wanted to leave! Now about some of those roads…all driveable, but you’ll need to have a little sense of adventure ."
BEACHFRONT New Luxury Beach Home, Always Calm Beach on Lazy River Sand Bar.
8/10 Good
"This beachfront home in Little Exuma has a truly pretty location with direct access to a private beach and the standout always-calm lazy river sandbar. The protected waters were perfect for relaxed floating, family play, and kayaking, and the overall area is very quiet. There are also large beaches nearby for variety, like a short drive to Tropic of Cancer Beach. The house offers good-sized rooms, the AC worked very well throughout (a huge win in the heat), and there were lots of games available, which kept things fun during downtime or evenings. The private pool was a nice option too, and the modern kitchen and strong Starlink WiFi (in the main areas) were appreciated. On the flip side, it didn't feel like the "new luxury" the listing promises—it's a nice house but showing wear and tear. Issues included:Several kayaks but only one paddle that wasn't brokenOne casita shower that wouldn't get hotAll lounge chairs broken Missing grill toolsCould use more pots and pans for a large groupVery remote location with a rough road leading up (sturdy rental car essential)Conflicting check-out info: listing says 11 AM, but someone arrived at 10 AM insisting we vacate in 10 minutes, which rushed our departureThe calm-water setting and quiet atmosphere made it a solid family getaway despite the maintenance gaps. If you prioritize natural beauty, tranquility, and room for games over polished luxury, it's worth it—just go in with realistic expectations."
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home and can’t say enough good things about it. Before we arrived, the host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. The home itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It had all the amenities we could have asked for and more, including kayaks and paddle boards, which made it so easy to enjoy the water whenever we wanted. Being right on the beach was perfect!
The design of the home is modern, stylish, and very comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind. The location is also ideal, making it easy to explore both the north and south ends of the island.
This stay truly exceeded our expectations. In fact, we’re already thinking about our next trip to Long Island and it will absolutely be based on this home’s availability. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect island getaway!"
