Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay! Judy was very responsive and helpful when I had questions. The house was in a convenient location and had a lot of yard space for parking the boats.

Great Space

The house had plenty of space and so did the yard. The host was very forthcoming and answered my questions quickly. She was very sweet and helpful! We would stay here again if it is available.

All round good stay, driveway was a little tight with the boat and it was hard to see comping out around the palm tree but over all we had a great time

Scallop Haven

Annual family vacation to Steinhatchee for scallops, fishing and family fun. House was perfect for our size family. Plenty of room for board games on the porch and a family badminton tournament in the yard. Bring your bug spray, the mosquitoes are hungry. Super convenient to Steinhatchee Marina at Deadman’s Bay as well as the public boat ramp. Keaton Beach is just 20 mins up the road. Communication with the owner was easy and they responded quickly.

Scalloping

Great place. Just need another garbage can out back for garbage to be placed and the tree needs to be cut back so you can see if anyone is coming before pulling out. That was very hard. Other than that - great place AC worked great.

Great times with family

Came for the opening weekend of scallop season. Didn’t get to stay long but had a great time. Property was as advertised and the property owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. Scallops were plentiful and delicious. Can’t wait to return.

Quiet and great location

Owner Judy answered my phone calls When I had a question. That means allot. Very nice clean place. Nice porch and yard. Doesn’t flood during rain like some places. Take your own soap bar And shampoo, I think thats typical in all rentals in Steinhatchee. I give 5 stars.

Great Porch

The house is nicely remodeled. The porch is a great addition. My family rented 3 houses in Steinhatchee for this weekend, so we could all be together. The only real con to this house is that they charge a $175 cleaning fee and they want you to wash all the dishes (no dishwasher), strip the beds , wash a load of towels AND haul your garbage to the dump, on checking out. The other houses we rented did not have such a high cleaning fee.

Almost ruined our trip

Day of the trip, we’re packed up and headed out of town. I messaged the owner to get last minute check in information. She calls back and said she has had to cancel her reservations for the month due to the heavy rains from Elsa causing issues with the septic system. She **thought** she had notified everyone. I messaged her 1-2 weeks before to ask about the golf cart rental with no mention of having to cancel. She almost ruined our trip! Luckily we were able to find something on the way by calling several places and still got to go on our trip. Thanks for nothing, Judy!

Great place, the pictures don't do it justice. Felt very at home, the screened in porch was so nice. We brought our boat and golf cart and had plenty of parking. Judy was a pleasure to communicate with and was fast at responding. Nothing bad to say. Thank you.
