Great house, great location!

Perfect for a small group. Great deck area with screened and open areas for seating, a scallop/fish cleaning station and a floating dock for the boat. Would definitely stay here again!

2nd time staying…still in love

We loved staying at this property. I had everything my family needed to stay entertained. We enjoyed the easy access to our boat ad scalloping. Love having the washer/ dryer to keep up with the laundry. Such a great experience again. Can’t wait to come back next year.

This is a very clean, comfortable, well located house with all new appliances. You don't need a boat to enjoy this house. Fishing is great off the dock and view from screened in porch or living room is spectacular. Steinhatchee is a quite fishing village perfect for relaxing. We rented a canoe from River Haven Marina for a few days which was perfect for exploring the river. People are very nice and helpful and this was paradise for my 3 boys who love fishing and the outdoors. We all hope to return soon to Matt and Alyssa's house!

Perfect location - lovely cottage

We absolutely fell in love with this cottage. The furniture is lovely and very comfortable . Both bedrooms are nicely sized and the beds are comfortable. Very nice for each to have an ensuite. The kitchen is well equipped; everything you might need. We are "fisher people" and it's just a few minutes to the gulf from the cottage. Plenty of room at the floating dock for two boats and what a treat to have your own fish cleaning station. Loved the option of a screened porch and and open deck. we will be back.

We came for a scalloping trip with friends. The dock was put to use with our rented boat (although that was a story and a half). The house is super comfortable and the split ac units worked great! The house is very quiet at night and we slept great. Large selection of pillows available. The kitchen is well stocked. The couches were too comfortable and I could have spent more time lounging!! We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Steinhatchee

Great house on the river where you can sit back in a lawn chair and watch the boats/works go by. Owners were very easy to work with and the overall experience was superb.

PERFECT for scalloping

We brought our boat for our first every scalloping trip, and it ended up being the best vacation we’ve ever taken the kids on. The house is right on the river and we were on scallops within about 20ish minutes of leaving the dock. Perfect little cleaning station at the house. The dock itself wasn’t ideal for our toddler but the screened lanai over looking had a locking door so we hung out there and watched the guys clean the scallops. It was perfect. The house itself was perfect and fully equipped. The only tiny complaint we had was with Steinhatchee itself which is a SMALL town. No groceries closer than a 20min drive. So plan ahead for that 😂 There is a PHENOMONAL taco truck within a block, as well as pizza delivery and multiple restaurants so shopping and cooking is not necessary. Can also take your scallops to be prepared for you at some of the local spots

Paradise on the water

When we pulled in, we knew it was exactly what we needed. Huge dock, very spacious home for our family of 4 and came with many additional items we were able to utilize instead of purchase, if needed. Short boat ride to where we went scalloping. Communication was great. Would definitely rent again
