"Lovely hotel in Chesterfield. Very comfortable room, even though furnishings etc were quite dated. Hotel itself full of character and staff very friendly and efficient. Lovely to have breakfast included! Would love to stay again and next time try the spa!"

"A bit of a strange reception area - not the fault of the hotel - rather a change of road use outside - taxis have to pull up at a side entrance. Stay fine, breakfast good, staff helpful - but the worst mattress I have slept on in decades! Dirty sheets on both beds"
