Good choice
Even though it was check in with code without meeting the staff everything went smooth and there was clear information way ahead and whenever you had a question or needed help there was a phone number that you got answer very fast. The cleaning staff was amazing.
The hotel itself is very cute, as an introvert I love the idea of a code going in (don't forget to have your phone number up to date!) and not having to check-in in person. But it is a bit odd to see nobody. I already read reviews and brought earplugs noise cancelling headphones with me. I stayed Fri-Sun and you can hear the music from the bars in the neighbourhood. Room itself was very clean and nice. I bought my breakfast at the supermarkets nearby. If you come prepared it is a good hotel!
It was easy and simple. The room however did get quite warm but opening the window was not an option as we were on the 1st floor next to the road so sounds echo-ed quite a bit.
Not a lot of plugs next to the bed/nightstands. Overall, it's fine - just not quite used to a self-service stay - which was pretty much common everywhere in Norway?
It was nice that they had a self-service luggage storage - seemed safe as it was in Norway.

DO NOT BOOK!
Stayed here many times. The hotel itself is fine and the location is good.
Reception is almost always closed and they .
almost never answer the phone.
You recieve a sms with the code to the front door/room door and this usually works okay however on my last visit the code did not work at all so I I was unable to enter the hotel. Tried calling the hotel but as usual nobody responded. Another person had the same issue and we both had to find alternative hotels but the entire evening was ruined after hours trying to contact anyone for help. Apparently not a best western hotel anymore either
After managing to finally contact the hotel today I was met with a very rude attitude and no offers or compensation.
Will forward this case to forbrukerrådet.
the location is ideal right in the center of the city. We loved the breakfast, and the courteous treatment we received from every one at the hotel. We just want to recommend the rooms to be cleaned a little more. This includes the restrooms!
Amazing location, very close to all amenities. Very friendly staff. Clean & huge rooms. Good in room facilities. Location at bit noisy area, though with nights being bit difficult with drunken shouting.
Good choice of breakfast.
Close or walking distance to city center from where you can catch most tour operators.
Website says there's a breakfast room but I couldn't find it and since there's no reception (that I could find anyway), there was no one to ask. That said, very easy check in with txt code, room was spotless and comfortable and hotel is in an excellent location.
Good price for a simple room. Actually no staff. You use a pin number to enter the hotel and your room. Expedia was to send us the pin and room number, but didn't. Had to call (international call for me) to get the hotel to send me the pin and room number by text. But for the price, it was a good room and great part of the city to stay and walk around to many local restaurants and bars.
The noise from a local bar in the middle of the night won’t let you sleep. The staff in the front desk is never there. There’s no way to enter the property because I never received a text with a secret combination. Terrible place
First we get an email with a key code, no desk person on duty, then we can’t get to the hotel because the roads are closed due to some event, then when we finally arrive and get to our room it’s small, hot and noisy. The street noise itself was absurd but we were tired so we just dealt with it, it was so hot and advertised as having AC which it did not but we could not open the window due to the noise so again we just dealt with it. Overall this was one of the worst hotels we stayed in during our 3 week trip in Norway. I get it’s a budget hotel but I’ve stayed in hostels that were better for far less money.

Disliked: Room comfort
Little sleep due to pounding music.
The staff were great, allowed to check in early and even leave my bags there before I checked in.
The room was ok for a solo person for a night. However only 1 very small pillow. Also I had a terrible night sleep due to some disco/ nightclub playing extremely loud music into the early hours. The music was so loud the room felt like it was vibrating. Not what you need after a days travel and I’m my case a days work also. I would not stay again due to this. I’d recommend avoiding this place at all cost at the weekend. As not being able to sleep in a hotel room due to other businesses in the area is really unacceptable.

Ingen resepsjonen. Kodelås på inngangen og rom. Funket helt ok. Veldig sentral beliggenhet.
Utrolig plagsomt. Ikke de beste sengene heller, dessverre..
