The Firefly Springhouse

Private cabin, with bath, located in a quiet country setting, close to town and easy access to two Interstate highways. Comfy queen bed, 400 ct sheets. Climate control with state of the art Trane system. Mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker are included. High speed wireless internet and basic cable TV. All varieties of people are welcome here.

Enjoy this fully renovated private studio sized cabin. Rustic charm and modern conveniences await you. Relax on the patio, walk the grounds, enjoy the sounds of trickling waters of two lily ponds. Hike to the hilltop and see for miles around.
You're just minutes from downtown, or the interstate.

In addition to accommodations, guests have access to a patio, the yards adjacent to the patio, and with guidance, a path to the top of the hill behind the house.

The Springhouse was as described. When we arrived, we were personally met and directed to the cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We felt right at home in the quiet farm setting.

Great stay at the firefly spring house

When we arrived we were greeted by Jeremy, he told us about the property and all the animals, he also gave us his recommendations on places to eat very nice and friendly guy, the suite was very nice and comforting would stay here again!

This quaint little cabin was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed for our little getaway. The hosts were super friendly and informative about the area and our interests. This was WAY better than just a boring hotel!

Great farm location

We love staying here. It is a farm, so don't expect upscale accommodations. But we love stay here and visiting with the animals. The owners are very accommodating and the Springhouse is well appointed.

Sweet little cabin

We had a lovely time staying at the firefly spring house! Everything was perfect for a two night stay. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet couple of night away. Staunton had some great shops and restaurants and was a short drive away. It was nice to see all the critters on the farm!

A terrific, private space. A delightful farm with animals (cats, goats, pigs) for the petting. Very convenient location. Delightful hosts. We’ll be back.

Very hospitable

Very nice place. The owner was helpful and hospitable. We were impressed with the cleanliness as well as the details she provided- coffee pods, tea, oatmeal, dishes and even stemware. We will likely stay again when visiting our son in Staunton.

We enjoyed and highly recommend The FIREFLY Springhouse. We enjoyed the view and the Chickens,goats,pigs,ducks, Guinea hens ,Clean restful and relaxing. Staunten Virginia has a very nice historic town. Enjoyed everything. Lovely family.

Very comfy

Cute little cabin that was very cozy. Nice working farm with very friendly animals including chickens, ducks, goats, pigs and guiena fowl. Very nice host family. Close to town and easy access to major roads. Everything worked fine and wifi was very good.

Lovely quiet farm stay - so cute!

The bed is super comfy! The bathroom is charming and clean - all updated. It's a cute little farm stay. Open your door in the morning to see sweet chickens and goats. Not close enough to make it noisy, just super cute.

Super cute and cozy!

Perfect little stay in Staunton. The firefly house is very comfortable and the setting is a perfect little retreat on our ten day motorcycle trip across Virginia on our way to Savannah. The little farm out back is full of very friendly animals. It’s like your own little petting zoo. Katie and Jeremy are very welcoming and great hosts.

My favorite vaca rental yet!!

Baby goats out the front door. Friendly cats and petable puppers. What else is there? Oh how about a comfy bed, sparkling clean bathroom, and super personable hots! Pick this place!

Delightful, cozy overnight!

Extremely comfortable & charming place to stay. Great value for an overnight. Nice bed, great shower, & helpful to have coffeemaker/fridge. Very convenient to downtown & highway. Hosts Katie & Jeremy were kind & responsive. I loved the peaceful, pastoral setting looking out from the cabin porch at the goats & chickens, and enjoyed the walk up the hill to a lovely view of surrounding farmland. Meeting Marley the super-pig was another highlight! Obviously not the place to stay if you don't like animals roaming around, but it was QUIET & rejuvenating for me. Will happily stay again on my next road trip through the area.

Loved the farm sounds upon arrival. Host was attentive and helpful as I found the right parking area. Spic and span and modern. Very quiet and relaxing. Love the bed and little nice touches in the unit. Great spot between DC and Kingsport, TN. Probably the best VRBO I’ve ever used!

Fantastic stay!

Property was described perfectly. It was very clean and comfortable! Nicely renovated springhouse. Very friendly family and friendly farm animals to visit. It was nice to be able to own the door in the morning and be treated by goats and pigs waiting to say good Morning. Inside the house you could not hear any outside noise on the farm. Very close to town to get delicious dinners. Highly recommend!

Cute property, great cats.

Nice property on a pretty few acres. Lots of livestock running around to live the place up and fun to walk around. Room is cozy, well air-conditioned, comfy bed; bathroom is nice. Owners greeted us when we arrived but otherwise we didn't really see them, which is ideal. Cats greeted us when we arrived and also came over to get petted every time they saw us, which was also ideal.
